Idea: A better system for when the the riders gives up
Explaination of idea: I don't know. Maybe a system based on the tiredness, the recovery and maybe the mood, with a higher probability to gives up in certain cases

Idea 1 :
Merge cyclicross and road racing a second 'youngersters Team'
Explaination of idea:
- I would make a road and a CX team
- And I'd say: a minimum of 2 riders need to participate in a cyclocross.
- Make ability that you can switch riders from cycloross squad or road squad in January (After the Aussie NC and the CX WC)
- Also mails about the NC's and the WC.
- You are manageging both teams
Why?
Because the fans op cyclocross can play their races on the road and in the winter in the mud with CX races. OR, you can only play road races or cyclocross races
It's so much fun than just sitting there, doing nothing... simulating to end of the year...
Idea 2 :
Add a second 'youngersters Team'
Explaination of idea:
How do we call them? Satellite Team? It's team's like Etix (2014) but now in 2015 they will be called: AWT Greenway.
- This team can of course never become WT
- Of course are you manageging both teams
Why?
- Riders that you that you think wil be good in a couple of seasons. Or when you think they are too young or something.... And you can decide who will be on pro roster and who has to go find another team.
Idea 3 :
Both of the above integrated
Explaination of idea:
- So when you open your game career you can choose: Cyclocross team, roadteam, youngters team, or the ALL-IN
- Maybe the track can go in there aswell (quite a lot riders ride track races)
- Because of the choosing people can skip what they dont want.
Why?
- The main reason is, that this is more management-like than the games now.

Idea: Addition of more Countries
Explaination of idea: It would be nice to include other Countries into the game
Why : Because me being Welsh i would like to race under the Welsh flag instead of the British flag and i am sure other people would have there views too like Scotland, England Ireland and Northern Ireland too.

But it doesn't happen in real life either. Every Welsh rider rides under the British flag, as far as I know. Therefore it wouldn't be realistic 
But more nations overall would be nice

...and more regions in some countries like GB to distinguish between Welsh, Scottish etc. riders. USA seems too big to be one region as well I think.
That could just as much go out to Daily's DB team I suppose
I would like more nations to get a national champion though. If nothing else then just a randomly assigned one so that champions of small nations doesn't stay champions forever in career mode.

I agree with that! The much lesser nations (e.g. African . South American based) would be the main ones. It can't be too difficult to implement the random generated champion like it does for Finland, Ireland, Sweden etc

Idea: team age-borders
Explaination of idea: The developement teams should get borders containing the maximum age of riders they can sign. Like "developement teams only can sign riders under 25" or something like that
Why: because I am sick of careers where 3rd division teams like Etixx and Rabobank, which are clearly developement teams and don´t sign old riders, sign old free agents after the first season. So that you don´t have these young teams staying young teams in the career.
addition: What also is really annoying is that teams like Topspoort or Colombia do not get a riders restriction. What I mean by that is that they should mainly or completely sign riders from the region they in real life only focus on...

Actually it can be edited in dyn_sponsor_regions in the column value_i_wanted_squad. The Daily db, for example, already has Colombia set to 100 (where 100 is the percentage of riders of a certain nation/region that a sponsor wants)

Be a pro mode!!
Just like Fifa where you start in a continental team and you can train for what you want to be good at. If you want to be a sprinter you start on 2.2 races and get some wins. Then you get a pro contract from a pro tour team. In that team you start as a lead-out man and then after a while you become the main sprinter.

I still think this would be extremely boring to play.
Especially if the AI would never select you for the races you want to ride. Furthermore I think it is strange that everybody expects his avatar to become a top athlete. What if your avatar would be too bad to get even a contract from a pro tour team? What if you only realise this after 3 seasons? And how many seasons would you want to play at lower teams until getting a PT contract? 5 or more like in real life?
Normal people tend to forget the dedication of real athletes and what they have to go through before becoming famous.

A easier way to plan the season
I think we should have the option to set our leaders in the beginning of the season and what would be their domestiques and just set the goals for the leaders.
Because became bored when i have to set the goal to all my 20 riders , when i just have real goals to 3 of them and the other are just supporting the same rider all the season .  |

It was just an example if you arn`t good enough you just stay in the lower lvls, and you choose to become pro yourself. I think the mode could be really great

I'm totally in for this idea! I've thought about it myself and think that it will create a great ekstra part of the game where you can be yourself (or just a real rider) in the game.
I think it should be created in the way of the real career, except that the camera might be changed and the controls in itself.
Maybe the idea is better with the tour de france game as your already is one rider at a time there, but it will be so much better with the whole career thing with all the races and teams and that.
As an extra idea to the game mode, I think that the way the rider shoud improve his abilities should be, by letting the player place the stats by himself. |
