Was only reading this (https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/cycling/27722064) because it was linked to the article about Wiggins not doing the Tour but this quote struck me:
"Froome also admitted that, had he been racing 10 years earlier, he would have been tempted to take performance-enhancing drugs but would not have gone through with it."
Surely given all the scruitiny he is under for his performances - at last years tour in particular - that may not be the best thing to be saying
Some guy tweeted Greg Henderson asked him did he read froome book .got a reply

Are you sure that's what he means. Usually when people pretend to play the violin it is because of fake sympathy. While I haven't read Froome's book I imagine he is presented as having a really tough climb to the top of the sport. It seems odd for someone to represent themselves in that way and so the fake violin sound would be appropriate for someone who is winning the TDF.
More likely Henderson just thinks Froome is a bit of a dick or we have misunderstood this whole thing. I doubt Henderson would be stupid enough to imply Froome is on something.
It'd be funny if Greg spilt it all out because of Froome's biography. He'd make his own downfall with his blabbering narcissim but I don't think so either. Maybe he gives away 1-2 embarassing details about Froome, that he left out of his book.
Here are two parts where Greg is mentioned by the way (from CN forum, I favourited them )
Nick Nuyens will have a heart operation. During the Bayern Rundfahrt he got suddenly an ascending heartbeat without any reason for it. He'll be back on the bike after one week.
As much as I hate to say it, I'd prefer Horner to win so much more than Froome and Contador. It's basically picking the rider I least dislike. And the added fact there would have to be some kind of investigation, wouldn't there?
