@Lachi, I was mixing a couple of DB's into one giant DB, so I had to check all locals (so I gave them names as in: local PCMdaily.cdb . So when I tried to open that I gave the error.
On another subject: I've created a new cyclist (in DYN_cyclist and gave him a contract (in DYN_contract_cyclist). But when I tried to select my team roster ingame, the game crashes. Also when I select this rider for a race, the game crashes before the race starts. Does anyone know how this happened.
With other words, how do I create a new cyclist in a DB/career with Lachi's editor?
DYN_cyclist + DYN_contract_cyclist, antying else?

Did you link the cyclist to the team in DYN_cyclist?
But generally, you did it correctly. Maybe you made a mistake? |

Yes, I linked it, but every time if I just try so see my riders in the roster-tab it crashes ever since I added him. |

Another question: I have all these sponsors in my DB, and I want them all to have a team and stick with it for the rest of my career, how can I do this?
I have tried editing the career in the start by putting the expiring date of the sponsorcontract to 2099, Still all the contracts that ran until my starting year do expire.
Some sponsor (in this case AC Sparta Praha) starts taking over every team even though they have their own.
I have also edited the collumn value_i_year_max.

Total newb question but with the pcm 13 editor you get with the game is there a way to move riders to a different team? Do I have to download another editor to do this? |

Yes you can, if you load the db/savegame with the editor that came with the game you can adjust the team. The field is directly under the namefields. |

Yes you can, if you load the db/savegame with the editor that came with the game you can adjust the team. The field is directly under the namefields.
Unlike rider name + attributes, team name is greyed out and despite being able to change it, when you move off to another rider, it reverts to original team
Here's a picture to describe it, white box is editable, the tan box's are not:

Did you make sure to click the button "Validate" when done editing?

Maybe a silly question but how easy would it be for me to make to start a db of say 08 or 09. I have played 07DB with PCM 12 also played 06DB with PCM 11 so i think a 09 DB would be great with the Mighty Astana V SaxoBank. Im really serious about this thing is i no absoloute nothing graphically jerseys etc...
Of course 09 stages would be good but its unlikely i could do the names and teams but would need help graphically or get told what i need to do.?

Well, you have to have a basic knowledge of cycling for the stats, it's not so easy as you think it is.
Like you said graphically you might need alot of help, and most requestthreads are closed due 2014 projects.
Basically you just need a lot TIME, because you can also learn the graphics and anything else in a matter of time...

Names/teams/stats you could (and probably should) all copy from a DB for PCM08/09. Shirts could also be converted, they won't look the best in game but probably good enough. Stages however are tricky, the PCM08/09 ones are completely different to the PCM13 stages so unless you find some stage makers willing to do 2009 stages, you'll probably have to play with the 2013 ones. And since stage making takes a long time and few stage makers take requests, you'll probably have to play with 2013 ones  (then again I don't find that really a problem). Btw: 2009 Tour de Suisse has been done by nathounet87.
