According to the tv schedule here in Ireland stage 1 will be live at 4.30 to 6.00 this afternoon on Eurosport 1. Looking forward to this tour as i'm off work for the week so i will be able to follow it all live.
Also many thanks to Malkael for the previews they are very helpful for the likes of myself who are not that well informed about cycling.

It starts at 16:45 CET, about 45 mins before Eurosport 2 and is only about 30 seconds delayed.

Good to see that Howes can climb. Garmin will need more mountain domestiques for the near future (2014). Vande Velde retires, Stetina is rumoured to go to another team. Some good help for Martin, Talansky and Hesjedal would be welcome. Here is hope Alex will ride Vuelta this year.
Will be interesting to see the ITT at the end of the race. Nobody from the first group today is an outstanding time trial specialist.
