Movistar close their transfer window
After shocking the world by paying a massive sum of 110k for Tyler Farrar as well as three strong riders, Movistar have decided to call it a day now. Even though francopell has only led for 1 day he has broken the transfer record twice and has a very strong sprint team. He has changed most things in the team and is now preparing for the next season. |

Sky give up on their GC contender
Sky have decided to stop bidding for GC contender Basso. They have decided he is too old and have decided to bid on 2 younger riders.

'Lampre looking for two more Timetrialists!
'
Today some new rumours about Lampre came out. In the middle of the transfer period their roster is almost filled, but they are still looking for two good timetrialists!
Also they are negotiating with Rabobank about a good rider. Nobody knows who, but rumours are that it is Gesink, Mollema or Kruijswijk. The three Dutch musketeers. Rabobank doesn't need this much GC-leaders and one of them might be sold!

Leopard Manager searching for a climber
Reports have surfaced that Leopard is indeed looking for a climber that would aid Andy and Frank in the mountains. Anybody interested in a sale to the team should contact their manager.
Edit: I'm seriously looking for a strong climber. I'll be paying a high price, I have money to spend.

Yesterday, the DS of Liquigas got what he decerved after not knowing the price he had negotiated with the manager of Lampre. That put the Lampre Rider over the top and decided to just forget about it

Basso to Leopard-Trek
Leopard - Trek general manager, aidanvn13, has anounced the signing of Giro d'Italia and Tour de France podium finisher Ivan Basso. This signing took place to solidify another GC contender for the team. aidanvn13 has anounced that Basso's goals would be the Giro d'Italia and Vuelta, as he would not ride the Tour.
"Andy has always been our outright Tour leader and with the signing of Basso we now have a contender for all three grand tours. Ivan won't be at the Tour to avoid conflict between the two."
He went on to say that he has received numerous offers to buy Frank Schleck and he is looking deeply into them.

after getting multiple bids on Robert Gesink, Rabobank again said that Gesink and Mollema will not be sold this season and if people keep bidding on Robert and/or Bauke No bids on any of the riders on the team will be taken in the account.

Pinktay3, Manager of Vacansoleil, previously stated that his team 'may be done with transfers', however, new evidence suggest's the opposite, with Pinktay3 looking into 'securing younger rider's for both the teams and the sports future' Yet, despite anything, this remains a rumor and is not yet confirmed |

AG2R Hunt for Team Leader
AG2R are desperately hunting a Team Leader to join AG2R to allow Jean-Christophe Peraud to leave in the ill-mannered deal with Saxobank.
While Romain Sicard remains the favored target for Manager Moore, it appears that he is now considering other avenues despite the potentially over inflated pricetag involved. |

Quickstep Done and Dusted
Quickstep announce their withdrawal from the transfer market. Having signed 20 riders, and sold 15 they have used up their alloted budget. All remaining 14 potentially available riders are now nessecary to the squad. As Welwyn will attest it will take an exceptional off to temp TMM back into the market.
Quickstep are now ready to look ahead to the season. Their TDU squad will be confirmed in a day or two.

Saxobank still looking for mountainers:
Saxobank have already improved the squad for this years Tour De France, however the Team Leader LeTrik tells that he still wants more mountain riders. ''Now we have Peraud, which is great, but we still need a rider or 2 for Tour De France.''

BMC manager Miguel Rocha announced today that Nicki Sörensen is the last hiring and Simon Zahner the last sell of the team in this season's transfer market. The portuguese manager also told that the team will aim to win the Tour with Cadel Evans.
The team also announced the squad that will race the TdU, wich is going to be lead by Karsten Kroon. |

Saxobank tells: Contador wont compete in the Giro
The other riders who wants to win the Giro probally got happy when Saxobank Team Leader, LeTrik, confirmed that Contador will not compete in the Giro. ''I have talked with Contador and we both agree that not competing in the Giro is a good idea. However he will compete in both Vuelta a Espana and Tour de France.'' Says LeTrik
