well don't quiet understood what you said, but when I converted the jersey into the file that uses jersey's (.tga) it didn't appear in my game.
I converted the .jpeg to an .png and than to a .tga file and that worked

And when you convert it to tga afterwards,you get this bad quality in the game!

The fact that the shirt is in .jpeg shouldn't change that though, only quality really  Perhaps you had converted to a wrong .tga format on the first time.

We have been trying to tell you that this is no good...
jpg is the same as jpeg
The best quality comes from png files...
