When the new PCM-patch is coming up I have got two ideas for careers in mind. Either begin with a small niche-team or take an already established pro-tour team. What do U think? |

My first season over played neraly stage and my experience of GTs was very mixed.
Played with Esuskaltel so only sent a very weak team to Giro, (think two of them finished!) although my main man Txurruka crashed out on second stage. De Gendt won.
I though i brought a strong team to France but I obviuosly misjudged , five coiuld finish but were really exhausted by the end. Got 15th with Sanchez but he was so fatigued that another day would have broke him totally.!
Did better in Spain, it s definitely true that the AI riders here are fatigued, Wiggins had 100 rcae days by the end of it! Only proiblem was Contador was starting completelyu fresh! He won every mountian stage and TT, won by 18 minutes, I got a respectable 7th with Anton.

I'm really happy with the PCM'Actu database. As always with any database, I've made some minor tweaks myself, but so far this DB (PCM'Actu 4.2) is giving me very realistic results (including Cancellara crash in Ronde van Vlaanderen) in my first season with Rabobank. Somehow, I feel that this DB is a bit undervalued here, but it's a good one for those who don't need things to be too huge. And let's just pretend that Contador didn't get suspended
Wolrd Tour results so far:
Tour Down Under | G. Visconti | L. Sanchez | V. Kiryienka | Paris-Nice | R. Costa | F. Kessiakoff | A. Vinokourov | Tirreno-Adriatico | R. Gesink | J. Rodriguez | A. Valverde | Milano-Sanremo | D. Bennati | T. Boonen | P. Sagan | Volta a Catalunya | F. Kessiakoff | C. Evans | D. Moreno | E3 Prijs Vlaanderen | F. Cancellara | A. Ballan | T. Boonen | Gent-Wevelgem | T. Boonen | F. Cancellara | A. Ballan | Ronde van Vlaanderen | T. Boonen | L. Boom | M. Breschel | Vuelta al Pais Vasco | C. Froome | B. Mollema | D. Moreno | Paris-Roubaix | L. Boom | A. Ballan | T. Boonen | Amstel Gold Race | B. Mollema | A. Valverde | S. Gerrans | La Fleche Wallonne | B. Mollema | M. Albasini | M. Iglinskiy | Liege-Bastogne-Liege | P. Gilbert | J. Rodriguez | E. Gasparotto | Tour de Romandie | B. Wiggins | C. Evans | J. Rodriguez | Giro d'Italia | C. Froome | I. Basso | M. Scarponi | Criterium du Dauphine | B. Wiggins | A. Contador | F. Schleck | Tour de Suisse | V. Nibali | C. Evans | M. Scarponi | Tour de France | B. Wiggins | C. Evans | A. Contador | Tour de Pologne | J. Rodriguez | J. Voigt | M. Kwiatkowski | Eneco Tour | L. Boom | T. Hushovd | F. Cancellara | Clasica San Sebastian | P. Gilbert | B. Mollema | A. Valverde |
Somehow, top riders aren't interested in Tour Down Under at all and use Paris-Nice to build up their conditon (had this issue with several DBs). Apart from those Cyanide issues, only the Kessiakoff results seem a bit odd and maybe Bennati's victory in La Primavera. And apparently, I'm good at classics, so I will have to play those on extreme from now on. I still suck at sprinting and grand tours though...

I have 2 careers going right now. One with Chipotle-First Solar and one with a custom team (mainly Italian riders) with 17 riders. 16 riders are $2000 salary and one with a salary of $3000 and one young rider.
Missed out on moving up to pro continental by 1 place with Chipotle after the 1st season. Now in second season and have signed Betancur and Spilak.
In my first season with the custom team (7 Eleven) and things are not going so well. |

Do U think it would be fun to create a new team with new self invented riders? Because I would like to try something different |

Just finished the first mountain stage in 2013's Vuelta. Sagan won it by 48 seconds and is leading by 2.43 overall. His mountain stat is 72, seems quite impossible. Attacked 5kms from the top and never looked back. On extreme aswell. (L) Peter Sagan

I'm in the third year of a Rabobank CT career. Signed Cattaneo at the start, and i
he turned out to be an amazing Talent, with 80MO, 75TT, 75REC. Marc Goos(79MO, 73TT), Daan Olivier(75MO)Rick Zabel(78SP, 74HI) and Wim Stroetinga(Free agent)(76SP) developed great. In my 3 years I've signed Modolo, Meyer, Aitor Hernandez(all after first season), Kelderman, Matthews, Phinney and Mccarthy(great hill talent in my game)
And of course, after the second season, I promoted to PCT

Yes, and it can be very annoying... But I like it, 4 dutch teams in a GT
Although I didn't race a GT yet. I think I'm only going to race the Vuelta, because there is a lack of Good MO racers in my team, and I got the best chances there.

when training in career so should I try to improve what they're already good at? for example if they have 80 spr should I focus on making them a great sprinter/flat? Or should I train their climb/TT so they do better at those stages? |

It all depends on how many stars they have left to improve.
For example you should train Kittel in sprining, since he can still improve, but a rider like Frank Schleck, who is already maxed out in climbing could be trained for time trial or something. |

Well, being the best on one thing will probably bring you much more victories than being mediocre/decent in many things, so yes, considering that they still have potential in those stats (the stars in the training page), I'd agree that you should focus them on what they're currently good.
But then again it depends what you want to achieve with the rider, and the rider's potential: if you want your sprinter to win Milan - San Remo, you might consider training him as a puncher so he gets better at hill. If he always goes out of the time limit in GTs, you should perhaps focus on his mountain, so that he compete more in GTs. Or if he's a climber specialist but you want him to be a GT specialist, train him on time trial, and so on.

There's a 2012 DB Luigi, if you don't know. |
