Although the season isn't over yet, Kiryenka and his Russian colleagues are still staying fit because they're going to ride the Belarusian and Russian national championships; here's a review of our season 2012!
With 14 victories (KoM, Points, Team and Stages), 22nd in the Continental Individual Rankings (Ignatiev), 15th place in the Continental Team Rankings and 4th place in the European Continental Team Rankings (Sponsorgoal) it has been quite a successful year!

With the way his team looks currently, I'd reckon so! Super-strong Kritskiy to lead, and maybe a Grand Tour debut for the team in the works?

Looking at our 2012 results, one thing's for sure, Tinkoff Bank - Rosneft OJSC isn't the strong squad that a lot of people seems to think it is, especially now that Ignatiev is going back to Wiggle.
4 of our 7 2012 victories came from Ignatiev, the 5th was the team time trial of Vuelta a Burgos, the 6th was the Belarussian TT (Kiryenka) and the 7th was our only 'real homemade' stage win by Trusov during the Volta ao Algarve.
Do we have a decent squad? Yes, we often are best general team during stage races, but we don't have real winners who can seal a victory. Last year Continental Tour predictions, all thought we were promotion material (with Ignatiev), maybe this year the expectations are a little bit lower, but the T.CS Five-Year Plan remains the same: Staying true to our roots and continue building a decent squad around Kritskiy.
For 2013 we as a Professional Continental Team are going for a Grand Tour wildcard invitation. In order of preference; Tour de France, Giro d'Italia and Vuelta a Espana.
The riders now go on vacation, management continues to work during off-season, scouting free agents, looking at possible transfers, but at the end our plan is quite simple, every Russian that can ride a bike is on our shortlist.

Wiggle Professional Cycling Team were happy with the results that their favoured rouleur, Mikhail Ignatiev, managed to achieve at the Continental level with T.CS Bank - OJSC Rosneft. Given a year's absence from the team however, Ignatiev's return to the Pro Tour is much awaited. Hope remains high that his performance could return to the dominant standard seen whilst previously riding for Wiggle.
Ignatiev wasn't quite as dominant in the Continental Tour this season, but looks to regain his form in the Pro Tour.
The past year has seen a tremendous increase in the performances of Russian riders, with Timofey Kritskiy and Aleksej Kunshin both debuting at the Pro Tour level in the loan exchange between the two teams. Kritskiy was a true pleasure to work with as a rider, keen to learn from his peers and expand his abilities for the next season as he returns to his home team, Tinkoff. Kunshin also shone when given his chance to do so, and has shown that those chances have given him the confidence to grow further.
Kritskiy will be looking for more than just points jerseys this season. Stage races are his forte.
Wiggle Professional Cycling Team were so happy with the outcome of the loans, which were begrudgingly agreed to at the start of the season, that they even spoke out regarding future potential loans. Maxim Belkov was certainly looked at by the squad as a potential mountain helper, to fill in where Kunshin left off, and whilst it was unclear who would be loaned across to Tinkoff, Wiggle's management were keen to clarify that any deals this season would be just as weighted as last - in the favour of Tinkoff - though without the loss of a leader for Wiggle.
A similar standard of rider as Kunshin, Maxim Belkov will be looking to gain experience in a Grand Tour this coming season to really hit his stride as a rider. Could a loan be on the cards?

Tinkoff's youngsters in the spotlights 2012
Tinkoff Bank - Rosneft OJSC welcomes a future potential loan deal for Maxim Belkov, next to Belkov we have two other riders who are looking for a spot in a ProTour team:
Pavel Korzh, a decent sprinter, great lead-out for a top sprinter/sprint train and Petr Ignatenko, a hilly-mountain-specialist, good water supplier. Belkov and Korzh are hoping for Grand Tours and/or Monuments, while Ignatenko is more into short Stage Races.
We prefer to loan out these three riders together to a ProTour team, but separate deals are also possible.

Who's Leaving/Shortlist 2013
15 riders extended their contracts with Tinkoff Bank - Rosneft OJSC, 7 riders won't return next season; amongst them are Aleksei Markov (Age 34) and Evgeni Petrov (Age 35). We would like to thank both riders for their efforts over the last two years, our youngsters learned a lot from them, Aleksandr Kolobnev and Vasili Kiryenka will take over the mentoring program. Maybe Petrov and Markov will join Tinkoff later as Assistant Directeur Sportif and/or Trainer/Coach.

Efrem Krivoruchko and Nikita Zharoven (both Trainees in 2012) were tested last year during Tour du Limousin, GP Plouay and Urkiola Igoera; management came to the conclusion that both riders lack the ability to operate at PCT level, and thus were forced to leave aswell.
