Emotional interview with Sep on Sporza.
Sep, you're still young. You will win this in the future. More than once. |

At least the guy shows he's a winner, 2nd place in Roubaix and crying. Samu (in a comparable race) would be so happy he'd remind it to us in every fucking interview for the rest of his life.
Oh, that's exactly what he does with his Lombardia podiums.

You should be. Probably rider I've been most impressed during the classic season as whole, great consistency and well he really took a step forward this year. Only rider along Cance to get Top 10 in all monuments so far.
Good to see him improving while EBH seems to be just going back..

Great race! Cancellara deserved the win. Second place for Vanmarcke is good for the search of Blanco to a new sponsor. And a great third place for Terpstra. Happy with the result.

EBH only does good when is on either mountains or hilly classics. I wonder why. |

Watch out Danny Pate ! According to French commentators, Cancellara who had at the time (entrance of the velodrome) won P-R twice could make it four today. He's really that strong.
Shame for Vanmacrcke, he should have Gerransed Luigi to the finish, at least after his failed attack.
Chavanel has shown (again) that he'll never manage to be a worthy leader for those races.
As for retarded fans, does anyone remember Leif Hoste in 2004 ? |

No, it's just that the bouncing of the cobbles bumps it out of their system.

Not the results I expected looking back. Great Roubaix. Styybar did well to keep 6th, but they should give him 3rd after outside interference.
Why? In replay it showed he rode into a well(cover) not into a spectator
OH. ANd I didn't mean they should literally give it to him. Just that he deserved it.

Pointing out Le Bon on 26 and Björn Thurau on 48, but in the group for 28th for obvious reasons.

He was in Cancellara's wheel as well when he seperated the men from the boys on the cobbles with 50 kilometers to go. He was 2011's winner of the u23 P-R.
I think many teams can be proud of the result today. This was probably Cancellara's hardest-earned victory this year. OPQS had lots of bad luck of course, but since they had so many good riders Terpstra was able to save himself for the finale and get 3rd place, which is a good achievement.
Blanco of course super with Sep, but I'm a bit disappointed in Boom. He was in the same position as Terpstra when both had a mechanical and yet Boom finishes 14th.
Van Avermaet and Gaudin, wow... they attacked so much today and yet they still get 4th and 5th, very impressive. In that sense Langeveld and Flecha weren't as good, as they didn't follow them in the end. Chavanel with a rather disappointing 19th place. He's no longer OPQS's second best cobbler in my opinion. |

Jetse Bol btw had troubles with his chainring on the first cobbled stroke and never saw the front again, he said he didn't even get any bottles in the last 25k |
