hey there. i installed the db and chose it, then started a career but when i said next to advance for choosing a team. the game crashed, there was a menu to send a crash report to cyanide. what am i supossed to do?
note: using 1.4.0.0 patch. |

The game sometimes crashes at that point, best bet is to clear your save game folder from saves you don't use (e.g. every such crash is also another save), it helped for me when happened. |

Is it normal that the game with PCMDaily DB crashes often when I start a career as a Continental team and start requesting race invitations on the first day of the season? It's very annoying, so if there is a way to prevent this from happening, I'll be happy to hear it.

I haven't really read about such problem. I've read about the game crashing right you click to start a career, but not after you actually enter the career interface (and that other crash is related to young rider's names generation, I believe, so I don't see any link with your crash). The only thing I can think of that might be useful for you is if you pass one day before starting to request race invitations, then the game is saved and if it crashes you don't need to create a new career, just load it ( = I'm not sure if that would avoid it from crashing but might make it less annoying).

Hello,
After one year in the game, the planning become different (its ot really a problem) but there isnt any wild card for all the uci course. there is a blue "?" when i want to postulate for a wild card, but the "?" stay and i've never any response. the blue "?" stay always, enven if the course is past.
Can i have help ? |

Are you sure you have the latest patch? I remember there were some bugs with wildcards/season planning but they were eventually fixed in patches.

How should I name my Belkin jerseys?
I've tried naming them 13blanco_maillot etc. and replacing the old ones. Didn't work.
I've tried naming them 13belkin. Didn't work. |

You mean from the post-Tour update? If yes, they should be named bel_maillot.

Well, I didn't exactly download it there.
I downloaded the .cdb file that was posted in the PCM13 stat discussion thread.
EDIT: I downloaded from above link and now it works.

I got many pink squares. Mainly flags and equipment.
This means I need a local.cdb file right?

Yes, pink squares in flags and equipment are related to Local.cdb (you can find a backup of it in [Main PCM Folder]/PCM.daily DB Backup or here.
Crashes when? Only with the update .cdb or with the normal 2013 DB one too? Lastly, are you sure you have the last patch installed?

I've had several crashes in Career Mode. Single Races are fine.
I didn't try Career Mode before downloading the post-tdf update, so I can't tell.

When in career mode?
And the fact that you didn't career mode before doesn't mean you can't choose the non-update DB in the options menu and test it now

Great work. Love to have finally Belkin in my team. So far the revised stats look also very good (although I power up some riders to make racing between favourites a bit more exciting). Thanks a lot guys. One question though (which is actually quite general, not sure if right topic): Is the rider potential always the same or does it change each time I start a new career? (I never select random at the start of a career)

If you don't select random, potential is always the same. If you select random, potential will go + or - 2 (not sure if it's 2) from the DB value (so it won't be totally random, but it'll certainly be much more unpredictable).

Thanks for the quick answer.  I was just wondering since when I open the Database-File itself it always says 0 at limited stats. Is the limit set at the start of the game based upon current stats and potential? Then again, maybe I just do or read something wrong.

I was wondering, did you guys change something in teams behavior, if that's even possible? Many teams attack now with two riders at climbs (which is pretty awesome) or try to bring two riders in breakaways. Also, I have the feeling that teams try to send domestiques forward way more often now to help their captains later in the stage. Each time Schleck attacks I know for example that Zubeldia isn't too far away. And also, in my Vuelta there are quite some top riders (Purito, Froome - after winning TdF, Valverde, Henao, Kreuziger, Betancur). Basically the rider field is way stronger than it was in my last career ever, which lasted several seasons. Maybe both things are coincinde or its based upon decreased stats but anyway, I like it way more now.
