I like the Tour route, although the TTT in last week really is a potential game changer. Well, what ASO can do, Bikex can do better. Since Quintana and Froome are both MT82 and Contador 81, I favor anything that helps the outsiders.
Vuelta is a very punchy affair and with several sprint stages also a bit of newground. I thought about Purito to skip a GT but with this parcours, it's pretty much auto-selection for me at least in Spain.

Thanks for the praise and critique for the GT routes. I see that you especially don't like the TTT of the Tour, but nevertheless I'll keep it. I don't think it will make that much of a difference.
So now to the Race Planning
Please download this sheet: https://www.mediafire.com/download/jvc...nning.xlsm
#1 Open the DB and copy/paste your entire team in the tab "Riders". Replace the example riders that are there.
#2 Go to tab "Teams". Look for the column with your team IDs in it. Copy that column. Go to "Selected Races" and paste it in G2. In "Races" you now see all your races listed and also race clashes, please remember them.
#3 Now onto the actual Planning: In "Planning", you'll see your riders listed aswell as the races. You can sort the riders by name, remaining race days and their stats that are shown there, simply by pressing the buttons on top. If you want a rider to take part in a race put a 1 in the according cell.
#4 Try to send full teams to all races you are taking part in. In row 3 you see how much riders are needed.
Rules:
#1 Every rider has to race at least 20 race days and not more than written in the DB.
#2 Riders are not allowed to take part in clashing races, please remember that.
#3 You have to send full teams to WT races and a minimum of 5 riders to CT races, if you can't manage to do that pm me and we'll find a solution.
When done, please upload the file this time and send me a link.
Alongside that please pm me a list of your 3 focus races. Your team's performance there will have an influence on your budget of next year. The more prestigious the race is the higher the possible gain, but also the possible reduction.
This is probably the most time consuming job of all ICL, but please try to be done on the weekend. If you have troubles to do so, please pm me in time so I can take care of your planners.

Oh and please PM me three focus races for your team. Next season's budget will partially depend on that. The more prestigious the race the higher the possible gain, but also the possible reduction.
Edit: link updated in a second.
Edit2: Should work now

Is that three focus races for both the main and dev team?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Only main team. Development team has a fixed budget. |

I like that Vuelta route, definitely the best GT one, very well balanced and quite "Vuelta-like" route, love it, shame I won't take part
Gonna send the Race Planning on Saturday the latest.
EDIT: Why have I got 2 riders (Trofimov and Dabrowski) in Riders' sheet?

That are example riders, I just put them there to see how the file works out and so you know where to paste your riders. Just replace them. |

My problem is just how to start this. Is there a place where we can insert our number or is it all copy and paste from old tables?

I guess you want two separate planning sheets for normal and dev team?

Okay, first thing is to open the excel db, filter it by your team, copy all of your riders and paste it in the Planning file in "Riders" in A1.
Then you have to select the races you're part of in "Selected Races". The file works the way that as soon something is written in a cell in column G the race counts as selected. To not make you put an x behind every race you're part of again, there is the table "team". You'll see a column with only your team ID's in it. Copy that column and paste it in "Selected Races" in column G. That way your races are selected. Now you have your riders and your races in the file and can start.
You don't need your "number" anywhere as you use your riders and I know then this is your team.

As always I made a very dumb mistake when completing the file. I'd like to ask you to use this file, now: https://www.mediafire.com/download/jvc...nning.xlsm
Just copy everything over and you should be fine when you already started.
I can also live with it if you don't want to do that, then the old file works as well, but it makes it a little harder for me. |

For the 3 goal races do we have to win them or just perform well?
EDIT: Do we do this for Dev teams?

Sorry for the double post, but how do you know the id of your dev team?

I forgot, do we have to check clashes ourselves or does the file give an error?
