Riis, check it out. I just stopped by CN forum, for a quick look in that Contador loveboat thread, and actually there was quote by Samu Sanchez posted, from biciciclismo
https://www.bicici...p?id=74640
“Por supuesto que Contador está para ganar, ya lo he dicho desde el principio. Es capaz de lo mejor, es único en el mundo y si alguien que puede hacer lo que nadie piensa es él. Por eso Alberto es el mejor de la última década y el que diga lo contrario, se equivoca”.
Translated by google:
"Of course Contador is to win, as I have said from the beginning. It is capable of the best, is unique in the world and if someone can do what no one thinks he is. So Alberto is the best of the last decade and anyone who says otherwise is wrong. "
So, Samu Sanchez ending all discussion about who the best rider of last decade is - at least according to him. Thought I'd share since we wrote about it yesterday/today.

Its hard to argue against that tbh. What Contador did yesterday was equally or even more impressive. You can't do anything else than tip your hat, whether you like him or not.
Both of them are great riders. Contador will go down in history, Valverde probably also will, but won't be regarded as better at the end of the day unless he pulls something crazy of the last couple of years (which he is capable off I feel, although a Tour win simply is too much as this point). Great to the Samu's respect. |

Pretty pathetic chase down in the peloton. I dont get why Orica dont use a couple of riders to control it, should be an easy win for Matthews..
Hesjedal crashed, damn. |

Froome takes three seconds. Well, every second count. Hopefully Barguil is okay after his crash. Haven't seen what happened with Hesjedal but according to the replies here it should be something stupid.

Froome been reading Rodriguez's tactical handbook it seems, in this case break free in the final few hundred metres of the climb and see what time you can nick.

Should seal the deal for De Marchi on the WC on the mediocre Italy-team, great victory and very deserved... I count Hesjedal would have won, De Marchi seemed really strong. |

He should seriously consider to try to hunt stage along Gilbert and Evans., the next mountain stage and the ITT will probably decide. |

Now I kind of feel bad for Baseballlover.
Yet I still believe De marchi would've won irregardless. |
