Ops... that crack team has GreenEDGE!
And Euskaltel with Samu, Igor and all these combative climbers does not remain behind...
You are going to have to do a very good period to be able to be there above
Good presentation, I want to see more!

Thanks, it was really fun to select all riders for GreenEdge!
Lampre - ISD
Lapre lost their GT-leader Scarponi and didn't make any moves to replace him. Cunego and Petacchi stay the leaders but the first one looks to have accepted the fact that he is a classics rider and will probably not fight for the overal in GT's. That worked out last year with some remarkable wins in the end of the season. Petacchi is still one of the best sprinters of the world but finished one step lower on the podium. For a rather mediocre team unless Spilak can proove his potential?
Liquigas - Cannondale
Liquigas kept there top core together and added Pellizotti as he returns from his suspension. Basso, who dominated the Giro last year, and Nibali can certainly win a GT for them and why not multiple? Sagan is expected to have a break out so expect him to challenge both the top punchers and the top sprinters. Expect of Oss nothing can be expected from both sprints and cobbles. A weakness?
Lotto - Belisol
Omega Pharma left Lotto who took over as main sponser next to Belisol. The team wanted to be more Belgian but kept their German leader Greipel. Van den Broeck stays the leader for the longer races, supported by Vanendert. The team also added some Belgian talents for the minor races. De Gendt, Van Avermaet and Devenyns are strong additions. One weakness is that they don't have anyone for the cobbled classics, there most important races.

About Lampre: you are totally right
about Liquigas: forget to mention Sagan when talking about sprints...
about Lotto: completely right, only there most important races must be their most important races...
Guess who's back?
Lets see how many friens are still around...

Movistar Team
The biggest storyline with Team Movistar is the return of Valverde. After two years off suspension, he is back! He wants to prove the doubters wrong and there is no reason he wouldn't to that. Mosquera joined the team after a year with Vacansoleil and he will probably go for one more Vuelta podium. They have a very strong supporting cast for the rising strokes but Rojas and Konovalovas are probably the only two notable non-climbers. Does the first one have enough support to bring in some sprint-wins?
Omega Pharma - Quick.Step
Patrick Lefevre and Marck Coucke came together to form the new top team of cycling. They made one big transfer: Gilbert. Phil is probably the best cyclist of the moment and will dominate the hilly classics. But can he cooperate with Boonen in flatter classics like San Remo or Vlaanderen? The team will also dominate the cobbled classics but can in the longer tours or the sprints?
Pro Team Astana
Astana lost their best rider as Kreuziger left for Geox. Vinokourov also aged a bit and doesn't look to stay the top rider he was. He should get the points for the team though. But certainly don't misjudge on Kruiswijk and Velits. The Dutch finished 5th in last years Giro and Velits came in 3rd in the Vuelta, for the 2nd year in a row. They are still young and look to improve even further. Hausller is the leader for the cobbles but can he get more support than Inglinsky?

Gilbert, Boonen, Chavanel and Nuyens... OPQS should be hard to beat in the (cobbled) classics. Nice team previews!

But it will be hard, even for the Bomber of Bern!

Thanks all. Omega Pharma is indeed a very strong classics team but they lack in the other categories. And baia, Costa is in Onda. Machado also moved there so they actually have a strong team.
Rabobank Cycling Team
Rabobank wasn't very active on the free agent market. They didn't add anyone to replace Boom and Kruiswijk. Their team looks strong though as Mollema can be one of the surprises this year. He will certainly be seen in one of the GT's. Gesink will also be seen in the GT's, if he doesn't crash ofcourse. Breschel is a top cobbler and will get good support from Langeveld. Are Boss and Freire good enough to compete with the top-sprinters?
Radioshack - Nissan - Trek
Radioshack and Leopard mergered to form one hell of a superteam. The Schleck brothers will lead with a very strong supporting cast. Leipheimer, Horner, Peraud and Kirchen all were top 10 in a Tour in one of the last years and will be great domestiques now. Cancellare is the best cobbler and TT'er in the world but will he get enough support from his team? And who will perform in the sprints?
Saxo Bank - SunGard
Not much personnel changes for Bjarne Riis this year. Contador stays and will try to win the Tour, something he failed in last year due to a crash. He will be supported by two of his closest friends and a bunch of talented Danes. Boom replaced Nuyens and Haedo stays the sprinter. Both won't get much wins but can go for top 10s.
Sky ProCycling
With HTC folding, Sky had a great chance to snag Britain's best cyclist. Cavendish is the only real superstar but he has a great and very deep team behind him. Wiggins will lead in the GT's and he has some great support in Uran, Froome, Rogers, Niemic and Lofkvist. The combo of Flecha and Thomas will also get them some good results on the cobbles.
Team Garmin - Cervelo
Garmin kept the team that got them the numer one spot in the World Tour last year together. Haussler is the only remarkable name who left but he didn't had a good season last year anyway. Hushovd dominated the cobbles and looks to repeat that. Farrar was the best sprinter in both the Giro and the Tour and looks to compete with Cavendish. The only small weakness is rising roads but Danielson and Hesjedal aren't bad either.
Vacansoleil - DCM
Vacansoleil signed two very strong Italians to lead the team. Scarponi is ofcourse a great leader. Ricco is another case.. But the Mosquera experiment worked out fine so why would this not? Leukemans will focus on the classics and Feillu is still a good sprinter for podiums. Or even more?

This...
Team Geox-TMC: Team Presentation
So we start with the leaders!
Roman Kreuziger
Kreuziger is our new GT leader. He will lead the team in our debut at the Tour de France. Before, he will also try to do well in the Ardennes classics and the GP al Pais Vasco, a race he won last year.
Denis Menchov
Menchov led the team in the Giro and Vuelta last year and he did great. He finished 3rd in Italy and 2nd in Spain. It's obvious that his goal for this year is to win one of those.

Kreuziger looks fantastic, you should be able to do good in all GTs. I only wish he would develop like that in my story
