This still does not convince me. If I would have been accused then I would be shocked and not giving a prepared press release about some meat I ate at exatly that day...
All things that happend after that day are a farce, politics, bribing or all together. |

UCI has finally decided to appeal the decision.

Very good news this. Would have been a joke if nothing had happened. |

CAS says that they can have a decision ready before the Tour if all parties are interested in this. |

We've got to remember that this case does present a problem. Is it about time for WADA/UCI/CAS to enforce limits to the values that can be found in athletes?
All I'm saying is, he may actually go free. I'm not a fan of it, but he just might. |

So you want to get back to the times of hematocrit levels where the riders could dope up to the limit?
It doesn't make sense to have some sort of upper limit (other than 0) for products that are not naturally produced by the body.
I agree that WADA/CAS has to fix this clenbuterol issue, because right now, it's possible to go to Mexico and China and dope as you like, and then blame the meat for it.
On the other hand, these cases may have had an effect: Due to the great amount of media coverage, an athlete should now be aware of the risks of eating local meat in certain parts of the world. Therefore, they are (again) liable for what's in their body.
Obviously, that's just my guess (that the issue has fixed itself).
Lastly, I also remember Roturn talking about some sort of hair test. A quick search shows this: https://www.cyclingnews.com/news/hair-...erol-abuse |

That hair test would be a good way to know, but I doubt there are samples of Contador's hair from that day left anywhere.
Still, even if there was and he'd be offered to, he'd probably claim he's innocent so he has nothing to prove and would refuse to take the test. Like Armstrong refused other EPO tests on his famous urine samples from 1999. |

I think I read somewhere (or maybe I made it up in my mind ) that, for the hair test to be conclusive, the hair samples must have a determinate length, and, in that case, Contador's hair would very likely not be long enough. |

Short Hair must mean doping then. |

Quite similar in my opinion
So I don`t think that this can really influence the test. |

I don't think that the hair test is ever conclusive. It can only be used as backing to your explanation. |

I read in a German article today, that he won`t ride the Giro to be well prepared for the Tour as leader of Katusha.
Plus the fact that he shortened his hair might make him win it. |
