Those results don't show that Froome needs a higher TT stat:
1: This TT is mainly decided by PRL stat
2: A TT in late GT means that Froome, as a GC contender, will automatically perform well anyway
3: He already has the highest TT stat of those riders anyway
4: Is the only one that could be seen as an argument for a higher TT stat, and even then the course was hilly which already favors riders like Froome
5: See 2

1. Yeah, I forgot it was short tbh.
And if he comes within 15 seconds of TD most of the times when this stage is played in PCM, there is no problem obviously.

With Froome and TT this was a discussion about six months ago where it was decided that the GT riders always perform better than their TT stats in the final week of a GT due to their rec levels and being high in the GC. Therefore all with the exception of Tom D were reduced. It was decided that he needed the TT as 1. he is a specialist and 2 his mtn is lower than most of his rivals.
On a few occasions I've noticed that the reason why Pozzovivo has climbed better than Pinot is that Pinot along with Tom D have been the ones working on the front rather than following. Pozzovivo has climbed better because he has shown more intelligence than Pinot but his intelligence is very shortsighted, would've been better to work with the others to catch Yates. That's why he has finished ahead of Pinot on a few occasions.
For me Pinot is an 80 climber and Pozzovivo a 79 climber. Pozzovivo is a strong 79 mtn rider and Pinot a weaker 80 mtn climber I expect that in game they should be similar.

What would be great are ideas on how to stat Aru.
One the one hand he just collapses in Gt's like this Giro then he is capable of finishing highly in the Tour last year, winning that crazy flat stage not that long ago I forget the race and the even crazier TT in the Giro.
This is a rider that could have any combo of stats to try and make him as near as we can get.

He had a crazy TT because he drafted. |

according to Giro VAR, just for some dozens of meters, he probably got a bonus for about 10/15" reckon freshness he gained, still a great performance

If he drafted for 10-15 secs that would put him around the same time as a TT specialist like Mullen.

I agree Aru's performance was much better than expected but Mullen had to stop on the side of the road with cramps. He lost a lot of time |

Lol Aru's performance is now getting worse and worse!
At the moment Aru has 70/71 which is low and most GT guys (the better ones) have around 73 and 74 TT so I'm thinking of max 74 for Aru but this is hard as he may never TT like this again. But I think either a 73 or 74 TT here.

Can't we consider Aru's performance as a 1 time fluke here? I mean, he's not horrible, look at his GT TT results last year. He just had a +5 day here.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

For the mountain stages thing, I'd almost suggest giving him a lower acc then the normal rider, I've noticed that ACC can sometimes be tied to consistency a bit as you can have values where the acc makes the rider not good enough to live up to his stats in the WT, so i.e. the number is so low that he is decent, but a - day will make his acc so bad.
Maybe that's a stupidly simplistic way of looking at it though, just a thought on how to get around Cyanide's lack of consstancy stat.
Alternatively, just make a rider where each stat is randomly chosen between Kiri and Sanchez's stat for the respective stat, way more exciting.

Some good points mentioned above and worth considering .
Mtn: I still think should be 79 and 80 before the Giro and have even thought of a 78 but that seems harsh. We know he can climb with the best when on form like at DL and Tour last year also his hill I think should be good.
TT: I'm thinking 74 here with higher TT than pro as any higher is a risk and as said it could've been a one-off
Acc: I agree we should lower his acc as that's essential to a climber.
RES: often the most important, now I think his res should be good which will enable him if on form to go well in a TT and last year he won a flat stage alone which would require good res as well.
He also has no favourite races which will make him have less possibility of top form in certain races and it will be more random

Looks like I'll have to do a severe adjustment of Yates' stats after this stage.

Pretty sure he's just sick, it's just too much time he's losing.

No f*****g way Dumoulin is better than Pozzovivo in climbing. At least after this Giro. |

I think that Pozzovivo deserves 79.
Dumoulin with 79 in Climb and he is mutch better in CRI. I think its fine
Maybe Simon Yates 72/73 in Recuperation?? |

Pozzovivo will be a 79
Dumoulin will be 79 but with his huge res will feel like 80 plus he has his flat and TT
Yates will be 80 but have low rec for a GT rider maybe 72

Stars are never ever based off one stage! The only stat that will take a drop is REC, and even then if he bounces back to a Top3-5 rider today i'd question whether that's even needed.
