Hmm, in terms of raw talent, I would still go for Cavs! |

What are you laughing about?? Durant, Westbrook, Ibaka... thats a Bigger 3 than Miami has now.. and San Antonio is old as dirt now.. Lebron, Wiggins & Irving is not as good as OKC's best 3.

That's what I am laughing about. Riis said the most talented team, not the best team. Anyways, when we're on that topic, OKC isn't even the best team now.

Better than Cleveland, and easily Top 3

Yeah, sure..."easily". That's why you were easily out in quarter-finals in 12/13 and in semi-finals in 13/14 season? As long as they play in the same team, Durant - Westbrook duo will never work. With many good teams this season, I am sure that OKC won't get past semi-finals, again, which clearly doesn't make them easy Top 3 team in league.
But, I guess it's pointless to even get in this discussion with you, as you clearly are OKC fan (nothing wrong with this, of course) and will keep "defending" them all the time.

They were defeated by the Spurs both years, who were the best in the league. Put OKC in the east and they would have made the finals this year.

Cavs also trying to trade for Love, although that means they might lose Wiggins. Why can't the Browns do these kind of things? |

What, Lebron has changed teams and didn't even make a TV special to announce it (to his old team as well)?

Not the Spurs both years, it was by the Grizzlies in 12/13 But I see no reason to disagree that OKC is a Top 3 team. Getting to the semifinals in 2014 theoretically means you're a Top 4 team (and, in practice, would be even better for OKC since the East is much weaker), and obviously getting to the finals in 12, beating the Spurs in their way, is pretty good too. Having one 'bad' playoff years in between shouldn't change that (should I remember that the Spurs were eliminated by 8th-seed Grizzlies in 11? ).

Okay, Bosh gets max with Miami.
Rockets will certainly match Parsons now after that decision. Looks like Daryl Morey swung and missed. Not that I wanted to see Lebron or Melo here..Bosh would have been okay..
I don't want to see these "diehard" LeBron haters suddenly love him again and pretend he was their favorite player all along.
If Chicago lands Melo they'd be right up in the running as well I think.

Why do you think that's the case? If they match, Houston is going to be stuck with the same team because they won't have any cap space afaik, but without Lin/Asik and a first. That's a team with basically 0% title equity.
I really wanted Bosh to go to Houston. Bevs/Harden/Parsons/Bosh/Howard would've been the most talented(since this was discussed earlier itt) lineup in the league imo.
Got to respect Bosh's decision tho. He loves Miami, already gave up money for rings. Now he's getting paid and is the star of his team. |

No. With Lin going to the Lakers and Asik gone as well they can match Parsons' $15M and still have a bit of space. Think about it. If they could make a max offer to Bosh then that means at least $8M cap room. That plus a mid-level exception to go over the cap. Plus, I'm not ruling out the possibility that they do a sign-and-trade deal and then go over the soft cap and match Parsons, which they were intending to do with Bosh anyhow.
As I said in my earlier post, Bosh is probably the only big name I wouldn't mind on this team. Then again I completely understand where he's coming from. Now that there's a completely open playing field, why not sign for the most money.
And don't forget that year Rockets had #1 pick, Bosh wanted to stay in Texas (basically Rockets) but they went for Yao Ming instead. Totally reasonable to screw Houston over now.

I don't know the NBA cap rules very well, but from what I've heard Houston have cap space only until they match Parsons and that is a day afaik. |

Hope they get Love instead. And Jseadog1 you're a funny guy why not look at the whole roster. Cleveland have a way better "TEAM" than OKC. Im sorry but hero ball will get you nowhere. And we all now KD is a huge choker in big moments. He is like a kid at times. Cleveland have best player in world, they have a PG who has potential to be a great. In Miami LBJ has never had a great center at protecting rim. While Varejao is not the best he is certianly better than Bosh and Anderson at protecting paint.
If Cleveland get Love then it is a rap. Cleveland have about 6 players who would be OKC 4th best player. And i think the top 5 would go like this, LBJ, KD, RW, Kyrie and then in 5th Ibaka. So while i agree they have a good 3. Cleveland have far better players than Jeremy Lamb. |

When talking about talent some people seem to forget teams like the Wizards, Magic or 76ers.
Cavs obviously are one of the very best. But next season will show if they play together very well. Imo they have like 3-4 players now that want to have the ball as much as possible. Could be an issue in the end. |

Carmelo staying with the Knicks, not surprising.. Pretty sure D. Wade will go to Miami.. Chicago may have a slim chance however.
Any other big name Free Agents left to note of?

Yeah, that can be the problem, but Kyrie can play off the ball already and Wiggins will have to learn it. Lebron is great team player, so i think they will get used to it during the season. Nobody expect instant titles i think, so they can work their way up and their talent is enormous, i would say that no other team is even close, maybe Sixers.
