Next game let's just get Raziz to give us a list of confirmed townies and TMM to give us a list of confirmed mafia, we'll win for sure. You mafia must've been killing yourself laughing (or more likely, killing us) getting all those guns, then apparently seeing our malpracticing doctor was on your side too.
Congrats though, you guys were excellent actors and BBL kept under the radar so good that you would've likely won anyway and I said that Knockout would be an amazing mafia and I was right.
Also, next game let's just lynch TMM Night 1, that gunshot was possibly the stupidest move I've ever seen and backing it up by breaking our rule to not claim as doctor, it takes talent.
Raziz didn't play right but I wouldn't necessarily call it bad, maybe just a little too eager to hand out guns, didn't help though and I'm still not sure why I didn't get one.

Also, it's time to vote for the post of the game, the nominees are:
Jesadog's:

Ian Butler said the exact same thing as have many other users. I can assure you that I am NOT a mafia member. I have no problem saying it because the mafia knows who the mafia is so they already know I am not mafia.
You are making yourself sound more suspicious by pointing me out as mostly everyone here believes me when I say I am pro-town.
I'd have a big problem saying that I am mafia because I'd be worried that the mafia thought I was in the mafia.
Weirdskyfan's:

did you follow the discussions? in that sense: would you mind commenting on what you think of especially trek? and, of course, all other non mentioned names of you yet (bbl, TMM). And please tell me what raises your suspicions on me, so that I may be able to clear them up.
Right then. First of all, I've already said I think BBL and TMM are pro-town. That was part of the reason why you strike me as suspicious- you went for TMM straight away without any real reasoning in my view. In fact, you said yourself that the reason you chose to lynch him was because that was better than lynching no-one.
As for Trek, I'm still unsure.
This was a mafia claim, right?
Plenty of other ones that were great in the thread as well, from amazing over-analysis to just some amazing statements, so feel free to pick out any others but these two that stuck in my mind the most.

Ah well, the mafia killed me before the fun part started. Still, it was terribly exciting to follow this from the sidelines and restrain myself from getting involved. Congrats to the mafia and looking forward to a next edition!
Last edition it was the gunsmith which decided the game in favor of the town. Now it's the other way around

Thanks
BBL played it nearly perfect and also Ian did a great job. It was hilarious how often BBL was on pro-town lists and Ian was simply ignored on all lists and all his posts were ignored as well

before I forget it: thank you very much for the talks bikex you were a horrible talk partner but it helped my game so much, as we learned loads of stuff on other members and mostly on ourselves - great work bikex! with one more day we could've gotten them
Some of my personal highlights:

Ok this game just got real. You can't lynch me, i'm the doctor!
The very best claim ever after lynching an obvious townie.

I'm not really mentally all there right now to analyze everything in depth, and I saw good ideas in what I read. Should I not agree with a good point that two other confirmed townies make? In that vain you could say that everyone who's ever agreed with someone on a lynch vote, correct or not, is mafia because their ideas weren't unique. I think that's kind of silly thinking personally but think what you will.
The most lovely mafia defense, making mental disability the cause for being mafia

Imo it was at least equally stupid to lynch TMM after that. It was obvious he was telling the truth.
Thanks jandal for running the game. Sorry for being annoying about the day deadlines at time and aggressive towards other players especially towards the end.
Some feedback: I agree with Ian that days should be set fix (possibly extendable in case something happens). I also don't think the day should end if the majority agrees with their lynch votes. Maybe it would also be possible to still allow some discussion after someone is lynched and not end the day right away? After all revealing the alignment of the lynched player possibly tells a lot.
I'm not sure about that, but maybe the town should also have some more power roles. At the moment the only real helpful role for the town in the pursuit of the mafia is the detective and he doesn't even know if he is not confused.
But these are just minor things, I had much fun playing, thanks jandal.
I thought this was my first mafia game but realized only now that I have played before already: https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....ost_952181
I agree that the mafia played quite good, but in the end I still think the main reason for their win are mistakes by the town.
I know I can't prove that, but until this post by sammyt (https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....st_1265584), I believed Ian Butler and bbl were the remaining two mafia members. wsf was clearly not mafia for me(although I voted for him) and sammy was the most trustworthy of the rest. But at that moment I didn't understand why he wanted the day to end so quickly while (for me) a clear pro town player was going to be lynched. I guess my frustration of not being able to convince anyone else got the better of me at that moment and I stopped thinking straight. Suddenly nothing sammy posted made any sense to me.
Still hats off to the worthy winners. Congrats. |

I just want to put it out there that I did have strep throat over the weekend and was basically incapacitated from a fever. That part wasn't a lie.

Thanks I can return the praise, you were also horrible to talk with.
I can't say it really helped my game as I was just too focused on replying to you in in an unpolite manner that I forgot the other players. |

And I suspected you because you were mostly talking about Croatia (admittedly you were lower down on my suspicions list). It's kinda amazing to look but on.

Both are amongst my favourite posts as well. I would really love to hear why people still considered that Trek could lie about his mason role. Another great one was from sammy in our long exchange:
sammyt93 wrote:
I could have said myself just the same but chose ryant because he had already put himself out there by making his claim and as I'm sure you are aware that unless I am mafia or a Mason, of which i am neither, the only role I could be 100% certain on at any time in the game, and especially so before events force people to make mistakes like your uncovering of trek in the last game, is my own so using myself I would not have learnt anything those 3 nights except who the detective is when he has the leads to unveil himself, and I would only allow the detective to prove my role as a townie instead of focusing those 3 days on the person I suspected to be most likely to be the godfather at that point.
That is a damn long sentence to say "I know my own role"

I'll be honest I would have started the next lynch vote with you because of this above quote.
Why on earth would a townie be pleased another townie got killed, especially that late in the game? you can see why I would have classed it as suspicious enough to lynch you next, even more so when you started trying to defend the person I was convinced was the godfather.
@ knockout, that wasn't just I know my role, but I only know my role, and the detective is what would win this for us, so confirming to him that I am also town doesn't really help but getting him to look at someone suspicious and find out their role does, especially as I thought I could convince them I was town through my posts instead of having to be investigated, which I had managed until I vote to lynch him.

Thank you Jandal for the game
I did learn a lot form the sidelines, and also learned that it's better to keep quiet in the begining rather then go on a gif tear like i did.. And then it backfired while TMM goosed steeped slowly out the room while pushing me forward

I didn't think someone would fail to see that this was supposed to be a joke. It's hard for me to understand why you would take that as an honest statement. Did you really think someone from the mafia would openly state that he is happy a townie died?
No wonder I had a hard time getting through to you, when you were waiting for someone from the mafia to post into the thread "I am Mafia".
I hope I at least wasn't suspect #1 for you when TMM turned out to be pro-town. |

I wouldn't say suspect number 1 but definitely the person I wanted to see post next the most and I probably would have had some questions for you based on what you put.
It did feel like you thought I was mafia after the Jseadog / Croatia tied vote day and like I hadn't convinced you otherwise since, but you were just going with the majority who trusted me.
