So, now please explain me what is the problem with the Horner's preformance. He is just better in shape then the rest, till he got busted on some stuff. And as far as I know, he didn't get caught this Vuelta, so... And of c. it's hard to believe that he can stands right up, but well if you train on that style, well then you will do it as easy as someone else is sitting while climbing. Just another style.
Ahaha , standing tall and not in the saddle is not aerodynamic he looses per 100 meter in speed bc of that and he is stil the best
Yes but standing tall means better way to turn the pedles.
Wrong u push harder in them , not faster .
Didn't say anything about faster

Have you ever been on bicycle? How you can say, that you turn pedals better standing than sitting in saddle?
Well, when climbing of course, you can put more power when you stand.
Wrong again , its all Watts power of the cyclist , in the saddle you can paddle quicker and aerodynamic so you gain speed and no friction with the air , in the "tall" mode u gain more power because of the longer stroke to paddle but its also longer to do that and get a lof of friction , so normally you loose power doing that , thats why you attack and then saddle and push, not stay 15 km out of the saddle and attack.

Sprinting up a mountain is not a style. Its EPO.
He is beating guys like Nibali/Valverde/Purito who are best climbers easily and it has more to do than just fatigue.
This guy has constantly defended Armstrong and his ways. For me there was no 2013 Vuelta winner just like TdF 1999-2005.
So? Because someone is beter then those guys for now, he can't be clean?
@Setzel: That's probably why he trains on that style of cycling, to be able to do that longer. That's where training is for.

You just pushing harder, but that doesn't mean, that you pushing it better. I'm not any frequency freak, 'cause obviously you can have same frequency off saddle, like on saddle, but in this case you're wasting much more energy, because you are obviously making much more power output... But well, yes Horner is fresher, so he can waste his energy and going like a retard all the way uphill...

You can't do that have you ever tried to ride not on saddle on uphil for long time ? Your legs just cramp like hell , there is a reason not even Lance did that shit
I know he is eager to get a contract and he went all in either retire and win vuelta , or get a contract since Vuelta is notorious for relaxed doping stance

The Problem with Horner is the same you would have if a 20 year old beatle beat Audi in le mans.
I know WC is coming but this is just ridiculous |

It's called clean cycling.
In the dark days atleast the Santi Perez', Sella's and Rasmussens got taken out.
