Finding sprint finishes very difficult, unlike PCM10, I find you need to be setting up the sprint around 20km to go, in checking your leadout men are towards the front before sorting out the train. Highest finish I have had so far is 3rd with Goss, stats are more effective than past games, makes this game really enjoyable
Its not a PCM game. Its a cycling game from another developer - nothing to do with Focus or Cyanide - as far as I am aware

Yesterday I finally got the game! installed the latest patch, as tradition I started racing a Milan-Sanremo. apart from the crash at 10km from the end (my fault, details were too high for my PC), a fact left me very puzzled:
having Rabobank with Freire as leader, I choose to set a strong pace to tire pure sprinters on the Manie climb. I put the team in front and LL Sanchez pacing the pack with 80 effort level. the pack broke apart and on the top of the hill was splitted into 3 groups, all my team was in the front group, counting only 40 units. In the last group, already 4 minutes behind (!) there were excellent puncheurs like Sagan, f. Schleck and others. They obviously didn't rejoin the front of the race.
How is it possible that riders like those, with equal level of form (I was in classic mode) loose contact on the Manie???
The fact that riders don't overlap anymore is cool, but if the result is that guys with HILL 80+ loose contact on a tiny hill because they have poor riders in front of them it's not that nice...
titleist82: Maybe they were poorly placed (like clentador) and did not expect such high pace so early in the race. It's realistic that ppl are poorly placed. Not all can be at the front. But I agree, overlapping is good, but needs fine-tuning.
Have to say the riders can't ride through each other is only a graphical improvement IMO. It negatively affects the gameplay on mountain stages on narrow roads. You can be as well positioned as you like but if you catch the breakaway your leader can lose thirty places by being stuck behind them. Shit feature
It`s just something you must learn imo. After some weeks you will know how to react in special situations.
In general it`s much more realism and makes the game better imo. I really like it, even if you can get blocked somewhere, where you have a big disadvantage.
