We expected our young rider Dabid Lander to make some good results here, as his climbing-skills fit perfect into the stage-profiles of Utah 2010 with two mountain-top-finishes.. and he did a great job! He was very strong in mountain-stages, achieving a 3rd and a 4th place in these. He also added a 2nd place in Stage 5 and gained the 5th overall in final stage! A nice result for Team Dark Dog and especially Lander (in his second pro-race). Tom Zirbel didn't manage to win a ITT again, but he was within reach of it. Jan-Michael Schromm showed climbing-talents, too, and had two nice results in the mountains.... overall winner is Tejay Van Garderen by 1 second against Zabriskie! What a close win! But it's well deserved, as he had 4 stage-wins in Utah this year. Zabriskie was better in the mountain-stages, where he made this decision for overall victory a thrilling fight in final stage! A great finish:

We weren't invited

And unfortunately i made the mistake to ask for an invitation too early in the season and we were rejected and couldn't ask again.. that was my own fault, because we would have been invited if I had waited a while (and being at the top of Continental-Ranking) before asking. Maybe next year

We're pleased with the performances of our trainees and feel comfortable by having some talent for the rest of the season and of course the future seasons.. Some great news came in, as Team Dark Dog was given a wildcard for the ProTour-races in Canada! This will be one of the biggest races for our team in 2010! We hope to show some good racing in these two races and we might see the return of our captain JosÃ© Rujano for one of them.. Tour of Britain will be another highlight in September: with our sprinters Richard England and Hilton Clarke having their fitness-shape focussed on late-season, we hope to have some good results in the flat stages!

It`s very close between 2-5 in Conti ranking.
Don`t you use Lachi`s season planner? Then all invitations in non UPT races are accepted automatically. Makes it much easier to plan a season. Then just hoping for wildcards.
