Aaaaand that makes makes up 2 other meh stages, yay!!! Diego is now 18 minutes behind Froome but I can see a wild Bouet trying hard to podium the KOM ranking, and why not, to win it, who knows
I bet that Stage 14 has seen another annoying crosswind: BUT WHY? WHY? F*K OFF! I can tolerate a maximum of 1 crosswind per GT, not more though!!

What a stage in California. 1st and 4th from the breakaway and McEvoy somehow gets 3rd in the bunch sprint to finish 5th. Shows the level of sprint competition I suppose.
And, of course, the mandatory:
BIBBY!!!
Stetina riding well in the mountains too. Looks like he'll finish top 10 which is the best he can realistically hope for with his dreadful secondary stats.

Happy to keep it ticking over Bikex.
What a signing Gusev is turning out to be! Seeldraeyers still has the lead in the KOM comp. Will Prorace finally take home a jersey? He will still need to make another break (ideally stage 15 or 19). Porte with a bad stage and off the podium, 4th place looks in the bag, at least, and we will gladly take that especially after two stage wins.
More breaks please! |

Quite pleased with how Cali is going the cat again solid.
Nothing really to shout about in the giro, just not getting the right breaks.

Wow, two stage wins for Ecopetrol in the meantime. Can't ask for more. The team seems to be quite active in breakaways.
I hope to see a bit more of Uran in the last week, a top 5 would be nice. Otherwise Duarte is riding very strong, still only 30 seconds behind Uran.

Busche close to a Top 10 in Cali. Just hope he can creep in on gc and hopefully redeem something. Nice to see Klemme in the break as well

Final part of Fjords is up, a massive points haul for one continental team there.
Matt:
Spoiler
You have another KOM jersey there. What say you leave the maglia azzurra to Prorace - Camtel!?

@bikex: I'd recommend not to use this version of Tour des Fjords again, because it basically gives all the top GC places to the TTT winners. Either we include another harder stage sorting out or the TTT should be replaced by an ITT.

What a terrific TTT ride by my dev team Eon. 4th ahead of many CT teams and even some WT teams like Celesio or my very own CarbonSport Squad. Superb!
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Disappointed that only two of my riders didn't have massive time losses.
Nevertheless good to see we won the TTT and a great GC win for Ludvigsson. A real high priority race for Fiskars actually.

Hmm, what about NO?!
Well, I can't say I'm happy about Fjords results to be fair...
...I'm far more happy about how my lads are going in the KOMs rankings, that really makes me proud of them! Would be even greater if they could win some GC rankings rather than the secondary classifications...

Even though Eurosport-Pepsi benefited from the TTT bias I agree with Silvio the route needs to be more selective.

2 stages Giro plus final stages California added. You'll probably get another Giro update later today, due to the lack of results posted in the last days.
@Silvio, davetwobob: If not the route is changed, I'll give that race at least another XML file awarding more bonus seconds at the end.
I actually already have a file for that but missed the Tour de Fjords apparently in the db..

Froome finally delivering another stage win. That's how it's done.
However, I'm more impressed by Majka who is riding the Giro of his life. Constantly beating the likes of Nibali and Porte, I didn't expect this. Congratz, Luigi!

Promising last stage in California from Joe Dombrowski getting 3rd on the stage 2nd in young rider and 10th overall.
Surprising 2nd team for Eurosport-Pepsi - crack open the cola

I'll take 4th in Cali as the consistent Cat continues to rack up decent GC's despite being up against some tough competition.
Very little at the Giro but some top 5's in sprints from Guardini - a shame that we are getting in so few breakaways really from the all Italian squad.

I have taken a very quick look at the GC and 4 sprinters (possibly more) could be promoted to top GC places with more bonus seconds.
IRL the 2013 edition that has the same profiles didn't have this bunching because it was won overall by a breakaway on stage 1 so we can blame the AI for not letting a breakaway win .
