Giro del Trentino results 1-3 posted, enough for this sunday. Will finish the race tomorrow evening.
Spoiler Really nice TTT by the team, I defeinitely aimed for the stage win there. Unfortunately leader jersey bonus only worked on stage 2, stage 3 was bad positioning by Intxausti to lose the race. Excited to see what the last two mt stages can provide on entertainment. Aru looks game for Giro

Of course:
- Nieve drops to 4th in TT (likely to happen, annoying all the same)
- Appo loses points
- Nieve do much but come a group behind (at least he attacked once) in Trentino
- Siskevicus does nothing in VDK
Why would I expect anything else? The only thing above expectations is we were actually mid-pack in Trentino TTT!

Wtf did my team do in Roubaix. Having 5 guys (or more?) In a group of thirty something and then having Sagan and Senechal sitting up is disappointing. We keep to quickstep us to third places in cobbled events...

A good salvage job by Monfort to get himself on the podium after a brilliant ITT. 3rd and 6th in the GC is good, but Atapuma finishing 9 minutes down on the winner is a disappointment.
Boom disappoints with a 6th place finish in De Panne after being top favourite. The cobbles hardly had any effect at the top of the GC. Promising from Windischbauer, taking a podium on stage 2.

The placing in the TTT was above expectations, but Rabottini losing 5 minutes on stage 3 is a major disappointment. 
And thanks to Shonak for the video footage of the two monuments!

Well work finished earlier and due to some rain, I rescheduled a planned run for the evening so I did the stages now.
I included videos for both of them, however stage 5 takes still needs some minutes to upload and fully process. At least stage 5 was pretty crazy with a long-range attack by one of the riders, but I guess both are well worth the watch.

Spoiler Fucking intense last stage that's all I can say to that. Incredible how Verona and also Fernandez attacked after they rested up and joined struggling Intxausti and Caruso to bring them close to Aru again. Teamwork straight A I'd say, giving Intxuaist his first big win since his win at Vuelta a Mallorca in the first year I think..

He was really strong tho and far more consistent than in past seasons, where he was often having bad days. Much like real life Aru kinda.
