And Contador pulling Rogers up a mountain so he can rise one place on GC to take some extra uci value points. I wonder if this is what the UCI wanted when they invented their stupid system.

So Geraint Thomas is like at least the 10th best climber in this race today??
"Jerome Thomas", according to Paulo Martins.
But yeah, Mr. former barloword, 6 on the blood passport suspicion index is climbing like a climber.
It's unbelievable. Literally. As in I don't believe this is genuine. It's Santambrogio again.
Like Santambrogio how exactly? One goes from domestique to team leader and one of the best climbers at Tirreno/Trentino/Giro, the other goes from a domestique who has had a large chunk of his career todate focused elsewhere (track) to ... still a domestique. Being on okay climber isnt new for Thomas either, see the 2011 Tour. So maybe he is better now than then, but riders can still get better naturally. He still got dropped.
I was of the impression that the passport index wasnt solely suspicion but other factors too. 2010 was somewhat of a breakthrough first week for Thomas with the cobbled stage and white jersey stint, so not too unreasonable to think he may have been given a higher priority to do that? Although of course others can just say that a breakthrough is evidence of doping, but hey. If it was just based on blood pressures, Im sure I can expect a typical isso-response, but Im sure I read some 'tweeting' words of caution about using the suspicion list of proof back when it was brought up with the secret pro thing a couple of months ago. Maybe inrng, maybe someone else.

Yes, Thomas is one of the few riders Id be disappointed by if he is doped. But Ive tried to keep bias out of my points above, and I fully expect some sort of attempt to discount my points

You can expect a picture of the 2006 Saunier Duval squad with the following words: "Only Millar and I were clean on that team" - Poitr Mazur

He came as a trainne on 1/08 so I don't think they counted him in that

Currently recovering from food poisoning and a stint at the hospital so don't really have the mind to argue lately, so I'll stick to this:
- From being sort of okay (he looked way better than he might've due to having the luxury of going hard for a few kms on the climb then dropping back to soft pedal to finish the stage somwhere in the bottom of the top 100) to this kind of performance at this level of race is a massive leap. It's as big as Santambrogio going from being a decent climber to top 10 in a GT
- The suspicion index was the pre-Tour list made to guide the testing, rider results during it did not affect it.
Either way, believe what you want personally. For me this is very out of the ordinary. I'm fine with disagreement

Thomas was a trainee, it's unlikely Mazur was even thinking of him

Stef Clement was 5th today. And he's from team fail of fails, Blanco. So nothing suspicious about Thomas. |

Well, I was going to watch the last stage live today. But apparently I can't because Eurosport is showing the yearly Nadal win and various forms of motor racing until they finally air some highlights about about half five. |

No. Contador being stupid for riding at the back. Not Sky's problem.

Not Sky fan but why should Sky wait for Contador??? U wait for a rider in 2 or 3 place in GC but u cant wait 4 every single rider that crashes and dont forget Valverde is pretty close to be race leader right now only a moron will wait for a rider to lose the race |

Losada for the win, me thinks. I doubt they'll bring back three minutes.
