Had Sagan ridden here, he would have won it. Definatly.
Boasson Hagen was once very close in 2009, his first GT. Cavendish (3 stage wins) was his leader aswel that Giro.
Exactly, there are like 3-4 stages that Cav is dropped on, where Sagan would hold on and sprint for podium, like last two days.

Giro organisers see the facts, there is 5% chance this guy is clean. If he keeps racing like before the rest day and becomes Nibali's main competitor (maybe even an assualt on the pink later on?). The fans start to adore him, so does the (international) media. Two months later, he gets caught. -> bad publicity for the Giro.
Taking him out right now is bad publicity aswell so they let him continue but he has to trun it down a couple of notches.
Is this for real, or is this just a speculation?
BTW:
Gavia, after the snow has been cleared from the road.

Wow! That ice is really thick, it could cover my whole house. lolz.
Anyway, I thought Giovanni Visconti was a former Italian RR champion? Why is it that there aren't any indicator in his jersey that he was?

Like Bernhard Kohl and Stefan Schumacher 2008. As far as i know, they didn't use their BB on rest day two, because their performance was getting too obvious. |

I thought that if you were a former Champ, you'll have a strip in your collar indicating that you were a former Champ.

Doping doctors aren't stupid either. Kohl was told to stop, schumacher clearly continued.

Collar and sleeves end actually. But it's a right the rider gets, it's not mandatory. |

Movistar/Caisse d'Epargne never had those stripes. Their kit for the current national champion was just those stripes.

Oh I see. Thanks Spilak & Aquarius.
The only rider I knew who doped this year's Giro was Sylvain Georges.

All of cycling's governing bodies/organisations are so fucked up that such things actually happen
I read about it on another forum. My initial post was more of a joke actually

The Problem is when I want to follow the times for exple the rider in the place 20 and he he is a bad TT . TV is probably not going to show him at the intermediate point and the finish line and since he is not a good TT then his time is not going to be displayed at all since only the 10 best times are displayed. |
