Wiggins didn't stop bitching about being leader in TdF so Froome applied some Voodoo. |

Nibali, Agnoli, Aru, Paolini, Pozzato, Ulissi, Felline, Caruso, Visconti, Santambrogio were training today on the Worlds course.
Meanwhile Froome has done wind tunnel for first time this week too.

I think I remember reading on cycling news few months ago they relaxed that rule a bit. Not 100% sure tough.

Yeah, could be. 9 starters right? So Cunego as ninth but couldn't come cause preparing the Tour?
Battaglin might deserve to be there aswell.

Yeah from memory they didn't want to get into trouble for punishing a rider after their ban had finished, which I believe is against the WADA code. Not that WADA would pursue it, but it is a fair enough argument I guess.

We still have TVG vs Evans.

We still have TVG vs Evans.
But that doesn't involve their partners...

Sporza has the story that Sky didn't select Wiggins, not talking about his injury. But I guess it's just more interesting this way
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Was quite looking forward to the battle between Wiggins [and partner] and Froome [and partner]
Froome will still win anyway though

I don't think that's sure. Contador's back. No, but I think he still will get it difficult, although a lot strong riders drove the Giro (Nibali, Evans, Sánchez, Scarponi) But there are still riders as Contador, Rodriguez, Valverde, Basso. Hope to see Schleck too but I don't think so.
I hope it won't be that boring as last year's Tour. Maybe just like last year's Vuelta, that was really sensational.

I wonder if he'll really bother keeping on.
He's looked much less impressive than in 2012 during his pre-Giro races. Still at a very good level, but nowhere close to 2012 (at least relatively to his opponents).
Now that he's ill or injured or has lost motivation, at his age, I wonder what he'll do. |

Yup, rumours of retirement were already swerving around when he was still in the Giro
