Imo, Dario Cataldo was in a similar situation as CAS is now. Both can ride for a Top 10 in a GT at best, but with Sky, they'd be part of a winning team and probably get paid quite a bit as far as cyclists go.
Also, he;s with Riis. Good chance he's not been clean his whole career if he is even clean right now.
You mean like Team Sky dopes?
But what makes you think that Riis actually had anything to do with anyone's doping? because of a few confessed liar Hamilton, Rasmussen and Jaktches who all have motives to lie even more.
Yeah I hate it when riders like Riis confess about people like Riis... wait...

I think that's Petacchi?
He'll sign for 14 months.
Also 99% Uran, but we all know that already. |

Well it's impossible to sign before August 2nd. So they have an agreement, but it's not official yet. |

Why does Cavendish need both Petacchi and Renshaw for a leadout?

If he could persuade Boonen to do the Tour then they would need no one else. Martin and Boonen would be a huge leadout, Cav wouldn't need to sprint |

Lefevre has stated that also Rigoberto Uran joins OPQS. So Uran leaves Sky....

With Petacchi and renshaw, OPQS will have the best lead out imo (if the old italian is still fast)
Uran is just a great rider, can't wait to see him win a mountain stage in an OPQS-shirt

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it but it looks like URan are changing his sky shirt out for a place on Omegapharma-quickstep.

I haven't seen it mentioned here but De Clercq and Henderson renew their contracts at Lotto. Great news for Greipel who gets to keep the rider who has consistently been one of the best lead outs all year.

Renshaw is for sure the main guy for Cav. Ale Jet will maybe be leadout for Giro (?), and then they have Boonen, Steegmans, and the powerhouse train. HTC Columbia all over again.

Not so sure about that. Whoever said Petacchi will be a good lead-out?
They say Gert (Steegmans) isn't the best lead-out because he's a sprinter himself and accelerates too quickly. Petacchi has sprinted for his own benefit for so long, I don't know if he would be a perfect lead-out.
Uran will be a tough matter. He will have to go for the GC with maybe 1, 2 guys in protection, since they won't repeat Sky's Tour 2012 with Cavendish. They'll keep the train.
Of course with guys like Kwiatek and Martin, you can support your team on all terrains. |

IIRC, Zabel ended his career as lead-out for Petacchi. |
