1. We all know for well that team directors got tv broadcast on in their cars.
2. We could clearly see 2 Movistar riders talking with Sky riders.
Good Riddance Sky & Froome. Karma will hit hard on you
As i said yesterday, food poisoning for SKY would be appropriate karma =)
so what about Katusha and BMC who also pushed the pace?

Not really. I would be more than happy to see Movistar give them a taste of their own medicine later in the race though.
Meanwhile, it's actually somewhat true that Sky are getting mauled because of 'hate' - I recall Lotto and Rolland got a small amount of stick when they pushed on under far more unfair circumstances at the TdF, but Sky will get absolutely mauled for pushing on when a GC contender falls due to crosswinds.
That's just social preference though - it's just natural that an already 'disliked' team will create far more cynacism when controversy strikes. Nothing wrong or immoral about it. |

Rolland eventually waited for the bunch after having attacked so thats fine. Sky kept on going. |

Well, Sky is more and more shaping up to be Leopard Trek V2.0...

For the record - I do not hate Sky (though I think that teams with massive amounts of money being able to use top riders as helpers is not good for cycling).
Every team that acts like this, loses some of my respect. You try to beat your adversary on the bike, not by taking advantage of an accident. And if you do push on, at least be frank about it. Their claim that they "didn't know" is pretty hard to believe if you ask me (also seeing Movistar riders discussing with Sky riders).
On today's race: I don't understand why they do this: local rounds on flat roads = nothing to see as a tv tourist and nothing to see as a cycling fan.

Porte was a domestique for Contador last year. I never heard somebody complaining about that. Rogers hasn't lead a team in a GT since 2006. They are not top riders.

But on the whole, you would agree that, if perhaps Garmin did the exact same thing people would maybe say "Very surprised to see Garmin behaving so unsportingly... maybe it will come back to haunt them later", but with Sky it extends to "As usual Sky are a bunch of f-ing so and so's, I hope they all get food poisining and quit the race!!"... Because they are already perceived as an un-integral and dislikeable set-up.
Just saying that there is a little (harmless) truth in the whole 'hate' theory. Which eventually comes back to the manner in which they act/present themselves anyway, for sure!
Solution: Bring back Barloworld, at least they had some character to cheer on when I knew nothing better about team's nationalities

Barloworld were basically a south african team, with some british riders
Ok someone said it before, look up Tour de Suisse stage 3 were the commisaires had to force a movistar driven split to slow down after the jumped a railway crossing
In F1 it would be called a racing incident what happened yesterday and everyone would move on, but as its Sky people are all too happy to wait
which is also why hardly any one mentions that Katusha (who did eventually stop relaying) and BMC also forced the pace after the split

Swift just pulled up and stopped sprinting with 150 m to go.

Viviani would be doing so much better with a bit more help in the sprints. Once again he finished faster than most others.
Degenkolb was in an own league though.

Well he came to the front with about 5km to go riding at about 60km/h, so I assumed that he was working given how strung out the front was at the time. I didn't see Swift around him either, which just makes it even dumber. Far more intelligent to sit a few riders further back and not waste himself.

he was on Swift wheel when he pulled up, so he fell back and had to relaunch his sprint.
