That was a good way to do it.
Anyhow, it will be good to see the racing back tomorrow. It will be good for everyone to start focusing on something else than bad news. |

I'm usually not a very emotional person, but that "Sailing To Philadelphia"-video nearly made my cry.
Incredibly sad to hear one of the Norwegian commentators, Johan Kaggestad, nearly crying when they crossed the line. |

I didn't watch today's stage, but I'm sure it was a really nice tribute for Wouter. I'm feeling very sorry for his family and Tyler right now. |

What a respectful tribute. It made my eyes tear, especially when they zoomed in Farrar. I can just imagine what he and Wouter's family are feeling.
Once again, rest in peace Wouter, I wont forget you.

A nice and moving tribute, I really hope the race organizers will try to avoid crazy descents in the future, even though things like this can still happen.Tthere are still "worst case scenarios" out there that hopefully never happens, and mentioning them would make me feel bad if something were to happen. If they are going to ride descents that have 100m drops they need to put up some sort of security there. Nobody wants a "Déjà vu".

A very touching tribute today! I was close to tears at the end.
My thoughts are with all of Wouter's Family and Friends

You have to say that descent wasn't the craziest one of the Giro. Also it was a bit of Weylandt fault - you shouldn't look back at 70km/h before a dangreous turn. But luck had played a majority in this event. Even thinking about now makes me sooo sad. More nets imo before turns like that would be good though.

That's exactly why I said "even though things like this can still happen". I believe you as well as I can picture something really horrible happen in the worst descents out there, and it could lead to something far worse than anything this sport has ever faced. Safety for the riders is more important than the viewers excitement, that's my opinion. |

I may lack knowledge on pro cyclists, so I must ask, what was the link between Weylandt and Farrar making it so special to Farrar ? |

They just happened to be very good friends and training partners.

Edit: I just remembered a situation from last year's Vuelta where Cavendish accused Weylandt and Farrar for working together:
