I still can't believe it. Smallest rider to ever top 3 a GT timetrial?

That was a nice time trial from Nicolas Roche to keep him in the hunt |

And his position doesn't even look too good. His back is a bit ascending, his arms don't look horizontal either. He's very much on the front of his saddle.
Though, Pinot and T.Martin said it wasn't purely for specialists, as there was wind, and quite come climbing. I doubt Pozzo would have been that high up the field on a pancake flat road. |

Don't think I saw anybody else with a normal bike. And I know that normal bikes generally are a bit lighter but could it have made that much difference on the uphill?

Congratulations, you've used the same argument all those Riccò fans used for a while

Apparently Nibbles has taken something for his bee or wasp sting, but he thinks MPCC wouldn't like it.
Erm, hasn't the glorious team he rides for recently joined MPCC and thus tacitly agreed than an ill or injured rider shouldn't ride when he needs medicines ?
There's something I must have understood too cynically...
What I heard is, people are given cortisone after wasp bee sting but because his team is member of MPCC, he could not be given that. |

So that leaves how many stages? And Horner and Nibbs have traded the lead how many times?
Its going to happen again, Nibbs will lose it to Horner. But, at this rate the winner will be the last man who has 3 or less days in red. If it gets to stage 20, and Nibbs is in red...Horner should win. And opposite if Horner is in red. Just look at the days (per leading the race) each has held it. About 3 days, so the last to wear it with 3 or less days in it come stage 20...should win. Seeing thats how its been so far.

If you see, even on podium when Nibali went to take red jersey, he was wearing sunglasses. Normally he does not wear it on podium. I think he still had swollen eyes from wasp bee sting. Maybe he was not even 100%. It is also evident from how close Valverde and Roche were to him. Nibali is much better time trialist than them. He would have been closer to Tony Martin's time. Anyway I think Nibali is very strong and fresher than Valverde/Roche /Purito, and will be only better in 3rd week. Only bad luck can stop him now. Horner has shown in past he can do good in 3rd week, maybe top 3, but certainly not as good as Nibali, surely. |

Thats what they said before the race. Horner has been the leader what 1/2 of it? So, dont be shocked at anything from today on! Wouldnt be surprised to see Nibbs and Horner both not win. Using up their energy the last 10 days trying to 1 up the other.
Anyone in the top 5 I think has a legit chance to win this.

Sorry, I'd just like to point out that that was a reference to the fact that Carlton Kirby callled him 'our glorious leader', a title assumed by leaders of North Korea; and is nothing to do with my opinion of him.

That does not look like the wasp attack. Rather like plastical surgery to fit the profile of steppen warrior from Kazachstan.

Well if I was to be pedantic then I'd point out that only one Kim was called the Glorious Leader, another is known as Venrable Leader and the other as dear Leader
