A lot of shouting going on in the peleton, you don't hear that often. High quality recording equipment from the Swiss. |

No, Sagan did. Bennati came second. |

Couldn't have been easier for Sagan after such a brilliant leadout from Bennati. Must've been a 300m sprint from him, at least.
Pozzovivo didn't finish in the first group. Disappointing from him, even though I guess he doesn't care about the GC after some bad mountain stages.

Mollema would have won the sprint if he kept up with them on the descent.
However he didn't and he lost it fair and square on the descent, really can't see anything in this debate.
Why would he have won the sprint? Because he was only at the front when he attacked and so he was fresher?
I really think Rui Costa is faster then Mollema who is a great rider that was 4th on a Vuelta. But Rui has won much more things.
Last year on GP Quebec he won the sprint for third against these guys:
1 Simon Gerrans (Aus) Orica GreenEdge Cycling Team 4:53:04
2 Greg Van Avermaet (Bel) BMC Racing Team
3 Rui Alberto Faria Da Costa (Por) Movistar Team 0:00:04
4 Luca Paolini (Ita) Katusha Team
5 Tom Jelte Slagter (Ned) Rabobank Cycling Team
6 Diego Ulissi (Ita) Lampre - ISD
7 Thomas Voeckler (Fra) Team Europcar
8 Fabian Wegmann (Ger) Garmin - Sharp
9 Gerald Ciolek (Ger) Omega Pharma-Quickstep
10 Francois Parisien (Can) Spidertech Powered By C10
11 Tony Gallopin (Fra) RadioShack-Nissan
In 2011 he won GP Quebec ahead of Fedrigo and Gilbert and a stage on the Tour with Vinokourov after him being caught and not him. In this year Klasika Primavera he also sprinted to win it.
About Mollema thinking that Spilak was ahead, so a guy that is 42 seconds behind him on overall was ahead and he didn't noticed that? Spilak was never ahead of the race...incredible argument. And Rui Costa also almost fell because he was pushing it hard all the way down. |

Velits should become sprinter btw instead of trying going for GC's
Looking forward to the TT. Should be quite an exciting battle.

challenging is a big word. Sagan basically downgraded the rest of the field to poor clowns again |

Andy Schleck seems to be getting back to form. Surely not his old self, but atleast managing to finish the race. But can he get top 10 in TdF. |

How is winning a sprint against climbers or hilly guys so impressive that "the rest of the field is downgraded to poor clowns"?
Yup Sagan is good in hilly finishes, better than any other sprinter and can win stages like this but how his he so impressive when he cant win a proper sprint against actual competition and cant win an actual hilly race against hilly competition? |

The guy is 23 years old and already has six GT stage wins and a victory in one of the biggest spring classics.
