Meanwhile winning three stages and green jersey in 22 years and biggest event of the year is not enough for Sagan to win sportsmen of the year in Slovakia, not mentioning another great results.
Apparently the silver medal of Stefecekova from Olympics ladies shooting competition is bigger achievement.

That's pretty stupid. What does the guy have to do to become sportsman of the year? Win the Tour? |

Last day for Armstrong to appeal the verdict from USADA. The game is already over so I don't see the point of him appealing. |

You can't fight a carbine with a bike. Fact. |

As I though David Lopez will do Giro with Wiggins ( there's 3 riders confirmed already ). As well in 2nd part of the season, he'll do Vuelta in support of Henao most likely at this moment.
So that would confirm Henao would likely do Giro too, while Uran go for Tour.

I don't think he can, if he did then he confirms that he lied under oath in a deposition a few years ago, that opens up many legal challenges and the possibilty of jail time. Unless his legal advice is that bad we wont hear from him

So Henao will lead Sky's Vuelta squad? Interesting. He's possibly the most suited rider in Sky's roster to the Vuelta parcours, so it could work well. Better than throwing Wiggins against those Spanish walls for sure.

Yep, with Wiggins wanting to do Tour, that took Vuelta out of equation. I guess Uran was the only one that could challenge Henao over Vuelta leadership, but I think from 2012 it was clear even to Sky who was a superior rider ( more potential ) from them two, at least in GT's.
Uran is set for Ardennes - Tour - Worlds - Lombardia as his big goals it looks.

Henao is the logical choice and with many of the big names at this stage heading to the other GT's he is in with a big chance to finish on the podium. With Uran, as much as I like the way he rides I don't see him a 3 week rider but he will win a in the Ardenne one day

Uran is net set for leadership at the Tour. He will support Froome and Wiggins there.

Well Froome is likely do to Paris - Nice, possibly few other WT Races with the Tour team. Then have a break, and do Dauphine - Tour. No idea what happens after, if he wins he might rest on his laurels, if he doesn't he'll probably want to achieve something else in 2nd part of season, maybe captain at the Worlds. One fact is clear, Tour is the massive target no matter what, and this time round, no waiting for Wiggins.

Armstrong has nominated for Texan of the Year award
"Explaining the reason why he nominated him, SportsDay columnist Tim Cowlishaw made clear that the award is more in the vein of the Time magazine person of the year – in other words, awarded to figures who were influential, even if it was in a negative sense – rather than a praising a great feat."

Who the hell wants to be Texan of the year? Is that some kind of punishment? |

Sagan's early schedule:
San Luis
Oman
Tirreno-Adriatico
Milano-San Remo
Tour of Flanders
Gent-Wevelgem
Amstel Gold Race
.
.
.
Tour de France
He will definitely skip Roubaix and the Worlds though.

Are you sure about that?
Skipping the worlds sounds weird to me. The course suits him very well.

Sagan will keep his focus on the classics. He will skip Roubaix (it requires him to change his bike position too drastically) and the worlds (the course is too tough). Once he scores his first classic win and gets bored, he could shift to grand tours.
The source can always be wrong though.

edit: Cyclingnews also says that he will skip the Worlds.
Peter Sagan has confirmed that Milan-Sanremo will be the first goal of his 2013 season but the talented Slovakian will miss Paris-Roubaix and the world road race championships in Florence.

I guess that makes sense, after all. The worlds will be a brutal race.
MSR, RVV and Amstel are his best chances to win a big race I think.
