Thanks lluuiiggii

The fitness schedules do take more time than expected. I've done 14 in 1 hour. still have about 50 to go... so will take me more time than today. Hope the have it ready by tomorrow Sad

Anyway, it will be worth while... (I hope Smile )

@Ulrich Ulriksen; thanks allot... the race participation should be good already. results may vary, because of the fitness schedules. I'll send you an email and look into it.

Understood that the real test will be once you have done the fitness schedules. This was just a test run to see if this approach to summarizing the results is helpful and to see how long it would take me.

I can do this fairly easily biggest time is running the season. So if is helpful let me know.

@lluuiiggii; are there any changes made to STA_race of STA_stage? I'm nearly ready to compile the new database, but wanted to know what changes are in the newest PCMDailyDB... some bug fixing i guess?

@Ulrich Ulriksen; I took a look at your file. That was very good. I would be helpful if you could add the type_leader and type_specialization and the fitness_program next to the name of the cyclist. I'm guessing that you look that up in your excel from the DYN_cyclist table, so the other items should be there as well.

You are correct I can look up those other items and add easily.

Not sure when you expect to be ready. Probably won't be able to do it until late this week.

TankNL
@Ulrich Ulriksen; That's ok... The more data the better.

I think i'm done. The attached file has is build on the latest PCMDaily2013DB and has the following features;
- altered the calendar to the correct new dates.
- new race program's for all the top riders
- new fitness schedules and linked to the specific race leader specialization

The last point can be altered again, but I wanted to see the link between the fitness program's and the type_leader_specialization. This can be renamed to generic schedules again (as Cyanide did the the CLASSICS schedules).

I'm still looking for people who are willing to test the database and sim trough a couple of seasons and post the race top20 of all the big races.

Sorry for the late answer. The xml file of STA_race/STA_stage has been last edited on 23/02, which would be post V1-release (and before the fix release), didn't actually fix bugs iirc but rather changed the lineup of teams for the races (for single race mode) as more races handed out their wildcards in real life (and to re-add Katusha in the WT races). Did you base your work on STA_race of the V1? Shouldn't be hard to merge if yes Wink

Well, it looks good, I'll check it out when I find some time Pfft Nice job Smile

First test run... I get the feeling that I had influence on the result because the Omega Pharma QuickStep riders where far from competitive. So will run another season tomorrow with another team.

I think i managed it Smile Will check later today, but i wanted to release to that volenteers could test run it first. My first 2 test went smooth. especially the second season has good results... so I think I'm content with this version and could very well be the final 1 Grin

Hoping to get some more data from other testers. But the first impression is good. If anybody else has feedback, please share.

Blueprint
Interesting that most GC protagonists choose for Giro & Tour, while none of them is successful in Tirreno-Adriatico or Paris-Nice. I guess you cannot influence this?

TankNL
The leader_specialization can't be influenced. However I would have thought that the poly type riders (type_leader 14), would do better in those races, not so many are in the top20. The fitness program is maxed for that month, so I'm guessing here why they don't achieve a good result.

However, these results where from simulating races. I might have a clearer view if I try to play trough a career.

Found an error checking the program. race 26 (Vattenfall Cyclassics) Isn't availiable in the sprinter program's. And the same goes for 28 (GP Ouest France - Plouay). I will have to fix that.

TankNL, just two things:

1- I've seen that when you modified calendar dates, first TDF stage takes place on same day that some NC's (June 29th)

2- Have you modified DYN_cyclist table? I've made some changes in PCM Daily 2013 db (adding some teams, changing stats...) and i want to know if both db are compatible.

Oh, and thanks for your amazing work Banana

TankNL
@Raskolnikov thanks for the feedback! You're right I forgot the NC's... will correct that tomorrow. As for the DYN_cyclist; it's the one in the last update from lluuiiggii, nothing is changed there.

Come to think of it, I think some of the type_leader feelds are still preset. I will correct that also and let the game decide which is which...

This could also explain the remark from Blueprint about the GC contender going for GIRO and TOUR because some of a different type_leader, then the game would rank or give them.

Good feedback, thanks, this helps allot!

Couldn't find the official new dates yet. Did alter it, so that it's on a different date then the Tour, but not the real dates yet I'm afraid.

The outcome of the WC(Thomas) is a bit strange though. Is it supposed to be like that? Wink

The rest is fixed in the attached file (v3)

The problem is that these NCs that take place on 29th of June (at least most of them) are set on that date because they are also simulated by the game (those NCs which you only get an email saying who was the champion). You get this email on June's 29th; if you have the actual NC after that (29th June), then the champion used by the game will be the one from the actual NC. If not, it'll be from the simulated (non-existent) NC ( = the game will use as national champion the one that comes later).

So either you move the NCs to after the finish of the Tour (end of July), or keep them clashing with the Tour, or move the Tour to 30th June again (at least for me, starting on June 29th/June 30th really doesn't matter Pfft).

Something is strange with the stats given at the start of the season 4 this PCM version. I had Gilbert MO limit stat at 80 and Purito CO limit stat at 77 Shock
