So he pulls off and blocks my lead-out man and sprinter as they are moving up into position and they cannot find a way around him until about 2km to go and are about 50 riders deep. I do manage to make it back up to about 15th position when I start my sprint and I find that the lead-out guy is sprinting around human traffic cones on bikes as all the sprint trains had fallen apart and were now going about 30km/hr. I think the leadout man finished 4th and the sprinter finished around 10th because he got blocked by more of these train remnants. It's a little annoying that the AI does not make them get out of the way and instead form this semi-wall in the middle of the road making it very difficult for anyone to get past. I guess this is the advantage of being in the front when the sprint starts, but it would be nice if the AI had a little sprint etiquette and could kindly move off to the side of the road.
Well, that's how it is sometimes. I completely see your point about moving aside, but that's the hardest aspect to implement in a game; the human aspect. This is just a computer which is designed to do a specified thing if situation A should arise. That's why you can see riders plowing straight into a fallen cyclist even though he had a mile to move to the side. |

I don't know how to explain it, but I will try. If you have like 3 men in a group. You have Contador, Chris Anker Sørensen and Nicki Sørensen. You protect Contador with Nicki Sørensen. Then you go for water with Nicki, and in while he is getting water, you can choose Chris Anker and choose to protect Contador with C.A Sørensen. And when Nicki is done with the water, then you have two guys to protect Contador. That must be a fail from Cyanides side. |

I've experienced the same, but it don't think it makes any impact on anything. I think its just a slip from Cyandie.

Yeah, got mine today.
Pretty shoddy packing by focus though.
Cle d'activation and Cle Jouer. Really focus, you are shipping an english version of the game, and forget the translate the little sticker with our keys on.

Getting sick and tired of Amazon, the first time i´m really upset with them, they first estimate was wrong, now the second one, which said that the dispatch is today, looks to be wrong since no email has been sent, i know the day is not over, but it doesn´t look like i will get the game this week.

Unfortunately my copy from Game hasn't arrived yet - even though it was despatched on Friday - really disappointing, especially after I'd cancelled my Amazon order, c'est la vie!!

Some thing i noticed a while ago. Before when you went to the PCM page in amazon, and clicked on 2 new part, you would see the amazon seller saying back-ordering or something like that, but now it says in stock. I guess they finally have more games. |

Hehe, tried to ride the WC today. But several riders had no backwheels, and no riders had helmets. Looked like some retro s***  Looking forward to the PCMdaily pack now 
BTW: Cancellara won both ITT and RR.

I just finished playing the TdF in my career there is something weird wth the AI, the peloton let some riders like Anton or Evans go in the morning breakaway in the last stages of the tour (they were 11th and 14th of the GC). They end up wining with about 7-8 min, quite dangerous; but what bothers me a lot is that they don't let my leader : Rolland 25th go in the break.
And on the last stage they don't let my last sprinter (Pichot 71Sp) go in the break I tried attacking 4-5 times they would les 20 riders go but as soon as I attack they chase (even if I'm alone) quite disapointing

I have to agree completely. Experienced it couple of times playing Vuelta. I went into break with Hayman, nowhere in the GC, jsut experimenting, and whenever he attacked and made gap, peleton increased the pace and caught him. 3 times I tried, every single time peleton caught him. Then out of nowehere Fugslang ( 8th GC ) and Kruijswijk ( 12th GC ) both attacked after Hayman was caught and peleton did nothing and let them ride to win the stage. I experienced that a lot of time now, and is the single most annoying feature in the game, that really needs fixing. Otherwise, the game is great.

It happened to me sometimes in PCM 2010.
If you play Hard/Extreme i think the AI is kind of... You vs ALL, so they won't make it easy to reach breakaways as easy as the AI does (mostly if they are in final stages of GT and it's probably that they will success).
But yes... sometimes i feel that all the teams don't want me to join the breakaway although that rider it's not a threat for any jersey keeper. |
