Hi all.... I'm on the last Vuelta stage, of the first year, and when simulating that stage, the game crashes. Is it there any way to skip that stage, in order to keep going on that career? Maybe with an editor? Can anyone help me pleaseeee. Thanks.

This has been answered several times. It's caused by not doing a clean install, as it's been stated multiple times in different threads. Look here: https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....st_1154360

i have followed the install instructions for both the main DB and the update, and then I followed the faq thread, and I still get purple squares instead of kits. I have verified that the DB is in the correct file, and I also moved the backup local.cdb to the main folder, and still purple squares.

Yet, this means you somehow got the installation wrong. Make sure you have selected the folder where pcm.exe is as the installation folder.

Hi guys. First of all congratulations for your great work. i don't know if it's the right place, but the database has a fault, is that in the pro cyclist mode, on 27 June of the first season the game goes down

Use the fix in post #4 in this thread.

do you mean the installation folder for v1.1 or 1.0? and is this the exe file, because there was only an exe file for 1.1, none came with my download of 1.0. my v1.1 exe file is in the same folder, not within a subfolder, as pcm.exe

and when I installed the v1.1 .exe file, yes I installed it to the same folder.

Well, if you don't install 1.0 you can't use the expansion pack without problems. Make sure the download didn't get corrupt and reinstall in this order, the 1.0 and the 1.1.

in that case, the instructions for installing 1.0 are incomplete, because nowhere does it say that there is an exe file for 1.0, only in the instructions for 1.1 does it say there is an exe file.

I didn't say there is an exe, I said that you have to install the 1.0 through the way it's provided (rar archive) before you do the same for the 1.1 Wink

Stupid perhaps to ask this BUT,
what have stunned me in this DB and previous version (even other DBs and my own) is WHY is Mark Cavendish so reluctant to start in the National Championship.

What makes riders more eager to race for national honours ??? I tried to put the championship as one of his favo ras, but no dice. Different variants, even flat sprinter friendly doesn't help.
Even increased the popular value of the race, but he find no joy in racing. This might be the case for several other top pros in other championship, but that is something I haven't paid attention too.

So any easy reason, or even how to make him race.
Please don't say take control of his team, he might get pissed in that case Rolling Eyes

nope, couldn't fix it, but this part of the faq has me confused.

Last but not least, if your PC doesn't run a x64 (64-bit) copy of the Windows OS, but a x86 one (32-bit), make sure you don't put (x86) in the destination's directory. So, instead of f.e. "C:\Program Files (x86)\Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2015", you'll need to install the game in "C:\Program Files\Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2015".

I got mine through steam, does this part of the faq affect me?

Do I have to change the sponsor kits for every race by myself or does the game choose the right pack for every race itself with the 2016DB? In my career the newspapers changes but the banners at the last kilometers for example are always the blue UCI banners. This was at the Tour Down Under and the Tour de Langkawi so far the case. Thanks.

The sponsorkits should change alone and they do, and we definitely included custom ones for both Down Under and Langkawi, not sure why they are the custom default ones though.

Yeah, I see the files of the TDU and Langkawi in my folder. How do you have implemented the different sponsorkits? Does the database access the dds files in the special subfolders of every race or does it change the dds files in the sprint folder itself? In this folder there are the blue UCI banners.
Is there still a Cache folder like it was in former PCMs some years ago?

No, we use the constant in sta_race to make folders in 3d/landscapes/borders and 3d/sprints and podiums containing the Jacky Durands Sponosrkits.
