Evans was really dead in the end. Which means Gerrans will win it again, meh, would much rather have Cadel winning.
Ah, and btw, great racing, even for only 3 kms and even for being Australia Richie creating a gap was actually interesting, since at some point he looked like he could even get the leader jersey if the gap kept getting bigger.

Simon Gerrans provisionally leads the General Classification by one second back to Cadel Evans. Third place is Diego Ulissi of Lamre – Merida just five seconds back. Porte makes a massive leap up the standings by moving in to fourth just 10 behind Gerrans.
Though we all know how reliable the results were yesterday
My cyclingtorrents predictions though. Ruined by Evans...

Big thanks to jdog for making this AMAZING userbar!
Not to mention he would have been better served dropping back to Group Gerrans-Ulissi once he couldn't reach Porte. He was just smashing himself in to a headwind all the way up Willunga Hill trying to do it solo.
If you look at the riders still in contention, and the profile of the final stage in Adelaide, you'd have to say it is Gerrans's TDU to lose this year, because he should win it from here. The man to watch tomorrow I believe will be Ulissi.

Ulissi can't sprint, so he has no way of getting the bonus seconds. Tomorrow is just a flat criterium around Adelaide. Not only that but if the peloton are together for any bonus sprints then OGE will have enough sprinters to drown out Ulissi's chances.

I would say Evans is somehow back.. Doesnt matter that he is 36...! He will beat Gerrans as well as Porte in stage 5
Based on all the gun-jumping you did earlier, are you now going to predict that Evans is so finished he'll end his career tomorrow?
