European teams is not my problem, I can see how it is not feasible to create every Conti team, but having WT + PC teams in small races is a big problem (imo) |

Well, WT & PCT ride .1 races in RL as well.
PCT are allowed to ride .2 in their own country only as well

Jesleyh, you really think 13 WT teams + 8 PC teams is acceptable for a unremarkable, early season .1 stage race? I know those teams ride .1 races, I even made a mention of it and gave an example but again, it is far too much and when it is a race your team has been put in, it is very hard to get anything out of it. I skipped all the stages after the first one, it was too hard to even bother.
Tour de Langkawi for example, had a better ratio, albeit still higher than normal: 9WT, 5 PC, 6 Conti. And yet that's a classification above!
2.2 races seem ok, nary a Pro Conti team to be seen (yet)
So again, just wondering if its a schedule thing that can be fixed/edited. |

Those early season races, e.g Algarve, have a lineup with a lot of WT teams each year, indeed
And Catagories don't always matter, look at 2.HC race Hainan f.e, I believe there were only 3 teams higher than CT

The 2014 DB is likely to be released in 2014, somewhere in April would be my guess.

April? Well, I think way earlier, at least a February Bèta, possibly even the whole DB in February, otherwise March.

Hey, don't give them too high expectations. There'll be more whining than for the expansion pack then

No Lollo, read the context.
I was joking
As said, probably February/March/April.

Nah, you're comparing apples/oranges and ignoring what I've actually said.
Anyway, I'm racing Azeri right now...but there's only 3 other teams included! So I'm trying to add more teams in.
Downloaded Lachi's Editor, found the DYN_team_race and I've added 10 more teams using that. Problem is...riders! The game starts with teams listed by no riders in the teams I added. Is there anyway to get the game to autofill gene_ilist_roster?
Or is there an easy way to do it other then having to check where each team is currently racing, who's not registered, who's not racing in 3-4 days, and putting them in one by one? |

Ok, so I did end up doing it the long way, added 10 teams to the race and then added riders depending on who's not racing elsewhere.
Worked fine until after the second stage. Suddenly OFM is ahead of everyone by three hours. This is the results screen:

This is the screen of the first stage:

Bit over this race so will progress past it but anyone know why this would happen?

Any chance you added them after the race had started? If so, that's why. |

No but did just twig they were the team I replaced into the race last in exchange for another who didn't have enough available riders (Enixx)
Probably messed up teams who are racing/race invitations somewhere in the db. Thanks. |

It's an unremarkable race, but the game understands it as a .1 race. The starting lists can't be defined for each race individually in the DB, so there's room for a few unrealistic startlists. For example, the same gene_i_calendar (set on the .cdb, the main value for controlling these startlists) that put all the WT teams in Tropicale is used to the Tour de Azerbaijan, giving few teams. So summing up, generally it should be good in terms of starting lists, but it's possible that some starting fields will be unrealistic. However, there's not much we can do to fix it on the .cdb (unless editing DYN_team_race on the save, but that's not something that can be done before you start the save).

Make sure to edit DYN_team_race at least 2~3 days before the race (use a weekly save if needed), then the AI teams will fill in their own riders and you won't have bugs like the one you mentioned on the other post.
