Meh that was dull, Kirby still managed to unleash a torrent of garbled non-sensical information at us at an extremely loud volume and rapid pace, so all's well
He is still better than David Duffield though

Why?
About 8 years from today Horner will confess to doping. It is hard to think of a more obvious doper in the peloton today.
Froome.

That might be true. But then Voigt should be doped as well, and that would make me sad
Should be? There's doubt?

I feel like GC riders hardly value stage wins anymore. I mean this stage probably could have been great. I remember the 09 Giro I think it was, with a similar profile to this and there were countless attacks. Today there were 3 or 4 and only 1 rider was a legitimate GC contender.

I'd hate to break it to you but prepare to be disappointed at some point after Voigt retires... This article has some good information on why Voigt probably at least doped in the past (based on his palmares and team history):

Problem is there are still 11 MTF's left so they can't go full out every uphill finish
Nibali clearly finished right after Basso btw

I think you can see him right at the end of the video that was posted above just coming in at the back of the Valverde/Rodriguez group
