Also i wonder what Saxo will do in Spain, info from their camp concerning leadership is confusing to say at least. Roche is said to be preparing for Vuelta whole year and should be the leader. Than Majka is said to be the leader too.
After those, Saxo came with recent info that Kreuziger is the natural leader for Vuelta and his power test prior to race look great. Also Kreuziger does not longer says that he is there to take it easy, he was working hard two weeks in Livigno and seems to be in good psychical mood, which is the founding stone for him.
I suppose this madness is actually the PR goal of Saxo to confuse the opponents, first two hill top stages should give the better picture about the hierarchy in the team.
Oh i didnt see your post before i wrote mine
From the outside the hierarchy looks very anarchistic at the moment |

Best part is, that Kreuziger said after the Tour that thoughts about him as the leader at Vuelta would be crazy, because his big goal is WC and he has tough Tour in legs.

Yes that is true. Its going to be very interesting to see who from the Tour, can do anything. Valverde usually do performs well. I could see both Kreuziger and Purito lacking the fatigue |

Why Purito? Kreuziger was clearly suffering towards the end of the Tour, while Rodriguez only got better. |

Yep, Purito was better and better every day. But to be honest, he was leader all the time, while Roman was dragging Alberto up the mountains for two weeks.
It had to cost him a lot of energy, but he did not race so much in the first part of the season.

Glad they went for Farrar in the end, he has a super chance to pick up some GT wins, to prove he's not finished when it comes to sprinting. Hope he takes his chance and gets a win or two. |

I seriously doubt that he does, but we will see if I am forced to eat my words.

Hard to predict the race, with a bunch of talented GC guys coming off a difficult season/WC ambitions. It's kinda hard to see Nibali, Valverde or Purito beeing at 100%, but I'm not much more convinced of seeing Henao or similar actually winning the race. And no top sprinters either.
My main hope is that one of my favourite teams right now, Caja Rural, put on a good showing. I'm tipping Marcos Garcia for a stage win and David Arroyo for a slightly surprising top 10 GC.
Edit: Lulu a big wildcard too.

No Renshaw apparently. He's ill. No idea who'll replace him. |

Wagner will replace Renshaw. Let's hope he takes the right side of the roundabout if he does leadout instead of Renshaw

I believe it's even worse: Brown will do the lead-out. He won't take the wrong side, he will just go right through the middle

Look at his WT results since the start of 2012. He race about 50 days and didn't finish insde the peloton 5 times...
Both Cobo and Schleck each have 3x as many CQ points as him in that period
But let's hope for Bos that Brown is worth the new contract.

Is that final for sure? Official website and facebook page of Garmin doesn't give any information about it, and I've read somewhere else that Farrar will not ride Vuelta for sure (information from today afternoon, so no outdated perhaps). |
