I can only agree, but to defend those media, Menchov was still there after 2007 (but not until 2012 though).
well they quite forcefully removed t.dekker, m.boogerd (not allowed in staff) and leinders (they couldn't fire him outright, but did not renew his contract in 09) in the end...
the only mystery is why e.dekker was allowed to stay, it's quite clear he was burned too |

A nice little interview with Pierre Rolland. He's targetting TDF, obviously, going for a top 5. But the best part: He wants to help Voeckler win L-B-L. That would be so epic |

Tirreno route not yet announced for this year, but race director Mauro Vegni confirms it'll be a similar route to last year. The mountain stage will have more climbs but steeper and slightly shorter

Boonen's pretty bad. Had to be operated on his elbow (disinfection). Qatar might be in danger, hope he can start training soon, so he won't lose too much time. He still has to break all cobbled records! |

Spoiler Michael Rasmussen will publish a book where he tells everything about how a doping scheme on a cycling team is organized.
The book will not be publish before in two years though as there allegedly is an 8-year obsolescence period and he will be telling things about Tour de France 2007.
Edit: Apparently just a case of "creatice journalism"

Well, first they cash in. When the rider is retired, they can't get any more money from them! |

Hein Verbruggen (former president of the UCI between 1991 and 2005) told in an interview that Lance Armstrong and others were warned when they had suspicious test values. Also, suspicious riders and team were invited to attend presentations on UCI's doping strategy.. "UCI tried to persuade the riders this way to stop taking performance enhancing drugs. ‘You might convince them not to use doping anymore or you might not.’ ", or, as Michael Ashenden (anti doping expert involved in developing the blood passport) puts it to "give[s] riders the opportunity to adjust their doping intake so they won’t test positive".

Breaking news! The UCI has released a statement saying they will start a process against Fausto Coppi shortly.
Spoiler Yes, a pile of sarcasm a mile high.
There's a fine line between "psychotherapist" and "psycho the rapist"

Oh shit. I'll have to fix that. =D
I copied the guide to help someone out in the general section, but then read the news about Boonen. I probably forgot to copy the link to the OPQ website.
