I have uploaded a base stat db which will make it easier to evaluate how much of training points you need to raise a stat of a rider: https://www.mediafire.com/download/drd...tatDB.xlsx
There is a table with all the base stats of the riders and another with how much points are needed for each stat.
It may also be interesting for you to know how much one point in the Training Table will add to the base stat. Of course there is a random factor but it will always be between 1,5% and 3% of what you are paying. So if you buy a 100 stat pack you will get between 6 and 12 points for a stat where it says 4 in the Training table.
@Croatia: Through natural progression the limits usually aren't reached and definitely not overtaken. |

For the restrictions, obviously a stage racer isn't a sprinter, but where do you draw the line between for example stage racer/climber/puncheur?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Good question Ollfardh. I am not sure about the specialization of some of my guys either.
Soo pumped for the new season, ICL is boss

Can I use multiple fitness trainer-units on one rider? (eg once 4 and once 5 days for Contador)

Fitness Trainer
Makes it possible to increase a riders race days. These can not be combined, so only one Fitness Trainer per rider.
How many training packages per rider though?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

@Ollfardh: On your first question: I added another column to the BaseStatDB I just uploaded to contain the speciality on which the game calculates the Average of a rider. This will help for some riders already and if you are not sure just ask me.
Second Question: 3 stat packages max for one rider. |

Sorry to ask what might be a glaringly oblivious question, but what do you do with the U23 selection file exactly? The copying your team part is fine, but I don't know what to actually input where to select my riders.

In which field? Really what I'd like to know is what's the criteria to make K3-K5 green?

Hmm, sorry but it gives some results I can't really agree with. All my puncheurs are considered stage racers because I trained them in balanced way. Serry for example is a stage racer, despite his highest stat being 76 hill. Eijssen and Goos are climbers rather than stage racers despite decent TT skill.
I don't want to start a big fuss about it, but I do feel specialisation are interchangeable depending on the rider. Stage racer or climber or puncheur, sprinter or puncheur or cobbler, the difference can be hard to see with well balanced riders. And a time trialer or fighter will almost always have a second specialisation.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

I put just in their wages since the wage calcs need to add up in the field (1000-1500)

In the Dev. Team field. Then the wages are automatically listed. |

@Ollfardh: The specialization from the database is just for orientation. Of course can a rider with e.g. 76HI and 76MO and 75TT be seen as puncheur, climber or stage racer. So I will accept all of those training packages for those riders. The rule is mainly to not have someone increase the sprint of a GT contender to 75 or so.
I forgot to say the limits of 100 and 250 count for all statpackages combined used for one rider that are not of one of the main specializations of the rider. |

Are there any limits then if the statpack matches the specialisation?

No, only the main stat limits (82 or 81) |

The after U23 Selections db is here: https://www.mediafire.com/download/qbr...B-U23.xlsx
It's the penultimate DB before we can start with racing. |

This question probably sounds pretty stupid but I'd like to ask so I don't throw my money away
If I train a young talent to have 50 more base stat points for example, would that mean they are, once they are progressed as much as they are going to be, are they still 50 base points better than if I had not trained them and done the natural progression normally?

The research training doesn't affect the rider's development. |
