Wiggins would rather retire than being a domestique (imo)

I wouldn't precisely call it news, but I've been browsing CQ rankings a bit.
Some riders, among those who've scared a decent amount of points this year, are having their best season ever this year (just with the points scored since new year's day).
Prze... (let me copy-paste that) Przemyslaw Niemiec (normal thing at his young age... wait...)
(...)
Niemiec was good climber before (15th in 2012 Vuelta, 1st in 2009 Route du Sud, 3rd in 2009 Trentino), his main problem was that he stayed in Pro Continental for much too long, moved to Lampre in 2011, there he was initially only a domestique and only recently they started to treat him as one of team leaders. Plus, as already mentioned, sticking to ProConti made him have no-GT experience, which was seen in 2011 Giro where he had recuperation problems.

I think Wiggins should ride like Tony Martin. Concentrating on ITT's and now and then a break-away. |

A short movie about the Tour of Rwanda (2011). You don't get to see any results or so, but is too beautiful to not share it. (It was won by Kiel Reijen(American)) |

Maybe Garmin?
Vaughters has always been a bit of a "fan", after all. On the other hand, Wiggins probably wouldn't fit into the squad. They've already got Hesjedal, Talansky and Martin for the stage races. Perhaps as a super domestique, if he'd accept losing status.
Vaughters does not want Wiggins's personality anywhere near the Garmin team. He won't forgive his behaviour first time around.
If Wiggins wants to move, start courting BMC
Essentially it's the same story everywhere Wiggins goes: people can't stand him so they don't want him back. It's a very large reason why Sky are so willing to side with a nice guy like Froome.

That seems bogus and I see little to no proof of any of that. One can speculate ofcourse but what is written there offers no evidence other than belief and speculation.
To me that looks like the average footbal newspiece from the summer, made up transfer to sell more units. |

Three Astana riders in training crash:
Fuglsang, Grivko & Bazayev. Last two are out for a while, Fuglsang will probably make the tour.

About the Astana thingy: lets hope Fuglsang can shine in the Tour, after being bullied away by Bruyneel

Looking around a bit on https://www.procyclingstats.com/, some very interesting statistics there. I was comparing race adys & kilometers from the stars in 2011. Voeckler is one busy bee, having over 14.000 km in almost 90 race days. Froome didn't even have 10.000, most others have around 12.000
Doesn't say much, but it's interesting to compare |

I feared they would be in when I went shopping in the local electronics store.
Interesting variation with the colors, but the whole thing just doesn't fit on a cycling jersey somehow.
