They have all but confirmed that Sagan is joining after 2014. Gilbert has been light years from his former self and is pissed off because he doesn't get to ride for himself enough. Solution: bring in a guy to take away half his leadership in MSR/Ronde/Ardennes.
Should've stayed over 2014 and then left once his old contract expired.
Exactly. nothing good has happened since he joined BMC (except that World Title, but that's in Belgian colors).
If he wants results, he should join Sky |

Nah your results would magically disappear after about 5 years

Who wants Riccardo Zoidl? Surely he has to ride in a WT team next year. |

of course, his results (and Goss's too) show just how good that HTC sprinttrain actually was
both have gone on to different teams, and have had no results of note
sometimes, you don't know how good something really is until it goes |

Goss has the speed, and the talent, nothing to do with changing teams this time round. Rather him being lazy, loving partying too much etc. He's wasting his career due to that.
Renshaw also made right decision, it was always unlikely to work but at least he gave it a shot at trying to become main sprinter, it didn't and now he'll be back to what he does best.

I hope he is getting paid less. Probably one of the most overpaid riders at the moment.
Each and every rider in BMC is overpaid if you compare their wages to those of riders on other teams

Got Renshaw and Martin now. Hopefully OPQS can get Eisel, and then with Steegmans and Trentin they have a really good train, as opposed to the current shambles. |

He's too old to manage that, but I reckon that among riders who publish their power datas, he's the one with the biggest power over one second (~ 1 800 W, IIRC). So, he's got the basic qualities, probably he just misses everything else (position on bike, position in the bunch, endurance to be fresh at the finish, confidence, etc.).
edit : riders as in road riders, not track riders, of course

I assume Argos and Euskaltel could use his points very well. NetApp if he doesn't feel ready yet.

Zoidl is clearly wt-level. Wil be too expensive for cheap points

I didn't say it'd be cheap points. Argos should be able to invest quite a bit if their WT spot is at stake.

Hopefully Zoidl makes a small step up to PCT only.
I think a step to WT is too big and could wait 1-2 years. |

Yeah, didn't made my point very clear: He is nowhere comparable to Sohrabi, Zagari, Tamouridis or Ubeto

In 2010 HTC published the max wattage of their sprinters. Greipel was top and Cavendish was very angry that it was published. He growled at the journalists that wattage is meaningless 'if you always lose the wheel'
What he should've pointed out instead is that it's about wattage vs aero, not pure wattage.
Meanwhile, in news that literally everyone will be surprised to hear, Cyclingnews reports that Kristoff will 'remain with Astana another two years'

Martinelli says Kashechkin's never really been part of the squad, nobody likes him, he doesn't seem to care about being a professional and he should just go when his contract ends in a few months

He's actually been pretty solid for Euskaltel. Especially at Giro he got some nice results, was one of more noticeable carrots at least there.
Radochla on other hand....

I'm still wondering why they signed him in the first place. The only real result he had in his first season back with Lampre was 17th overall at the Vuelta.
EDIT: Kash, that is.

I wouldn't put Tamouridis there. He might not be exactly WT material, but he was quite active in the Giro.
