Having the cameras in the car created talking points, made the race funner to follow. The fans had more of an insight as to what was really happening, rather than speculation.

Instead to say "thanks for allowing TV in the car", people rail on the actors. What team will allow it again? Too bad

Langeveld
great ride by rabo today, they weren't in the first break, but after that in almost every deciding break, with Tjallingi, Boom, Leezer and Langeveld.
But what a race in general.. great surprises, pretty good winner, a good Chavanel and Cancellara, Gilbert pretty strong too and not to forget Scheirlinckx. Flecha was kinda dissapointing, tried it, but just wasn't good enough. |

What's wrong with Nuyens? I know he isn't the most attractive rider, but he doesn't seem a bad guy to me. |

Vaughters defending himself about the comment in the car 'no riding'
I'll say it again: We had thor and tyler (2) in the group. Neither were feeling great.Tyler was asking if he shd work. The answer was "no"

It wasn't a really weird tactic in my opinion. Other teams had much more riders in the group. |

Yea, but look at the Garmin formidable classic team, where were they riders ?? There was so much hype about their team and they underperformed in every cobbled classic so far, and in the most important one to date, they failed the biggest.

Ps.: who said radios make races boring and stuff like that?
Did you hear what Vaughters was telling his riders via radio?
Sure, but at least his stupidity on that payed off really bad for him in the end.
Garmin - Cervelo fail of the year, so far
I think that Chavanel was asked to wait for Boonen by the radio... Could have won without...
(Sorry I'm so upset for him xD)
Team Europcar !!

I have to admit, I had lost faith in everyone but Chavanel and Cancellara, right up until the last few kilometers.
Nuyens was a big surprise.
Sadly not a good one, like a new chainset, but a bad one, like a new STD.
I don't know about that. Part of me wants to hail him for kicking critics in the face (having won more than once must mean it's not a fluke), and I enjoy watching SBS winning with someone else than their stars from the past 3-4 years (who are almost all gone).
And on the other hand: I'm afraid that Nuyens' ego could become too big for his brain to handle. Maybe he'll explode?
For me it's just the way he raced. Didn't put his nose into the wind all day. Plus the ego thing
Still, he raced how he needed to win - maybe I just wanted Chavanel too much. |

I also thought the tactic of Boonen to attack at ''Haaghoek'' was very weird. Chavanel was in front and Cancellara was isolated... |

So we're not allowed to discuss their decisions? What's the point of showing the team car then? Listen and say thanks? |

it's just a fail that they start every single race with 3 leaders.. if they just split it up it's more clear for the team, better protected leader in the race and more people to ride for him if things go bad..
their management just sucks |

Gonna be great P-R this year
One thing really intrests me as Sky fan, Thomas worked and worked all throughout the race for Flecha, he manged to close down a lot of breaks. He looked stronger than Flecha, would you make Thomas leader for Paris-Roubaix ? He looks stronger than Flecha for me at the moment.

I would give joint leadership. See who's stronger at x km to go, then give him full leadership.
Having said that IMO Thomas is a dark horse for next sunday

It is really impressing, Cancellara had cramps and speaking to his wife on the phone he said something like "I was lucky to even stay in the front". But still it was him who made the decisive attack and launched the sprint. Sadly he had launch it so early because he saw Boonen coming. |

Chavanel deserved it more than anyone, but it was Nuyens that crossed the line first, you can't take that away from him.
