looking absolutely stacked and never even considered taking just the minimum, but with your strengths, I can see why it is a good move! Looking forward to some battles but also hoping you've selected the opposite schedule to me for many classics! |

I can definitely see that this finally is the year where you promote. In terms of main stats, your team is definitely great (better than mine last year); it remains to be seen whether it's versatile enough for the more hybrid races, though.
But especially the newly added TT department should net you some much needed points, whereas Kulppi adds some depth on the cobbles. And Eriksson should just be a fun rider to have
Good luck!

Squad is looking nice! The hills duo looks the strongest to me but also solid leaders everywhere. Good squad!
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Wow, what a CT squad. Better than quite some PCT teams
Hopefully/surely you finally get that deserved promotion. And then it's time to bring Manninen home?

From all the CT squads I've seen so far this seems to be the strongest with capable leaders for every kind of race. My only concern is the age structure, as only the hills department will stay on this level for the years to come. But if you promote this season that probably won't be a problem given the upcoming rebuild for PCT. So you're my division favourite right now and I expect to see a lot of blue and yellow in the race's finals

Scary (though aging) team. TT, mountains and hills particularly!

Realkly strong on each terrain! So far you look like a favorite for promotion already. Though like mentioned earlier you seem to lack some promises for the future though but who cares about the future when youc an win now

Hopefully you can find a way to get the best from both Dyrnes and Eriksson and really challenge for promotion this time.

Thank y'all for the amazing feedback! I really hope you're right
Yeah, its unfortunately quite an aging squad, and it's a bit risky, but that was what we could afford. I hope it will pay off for this season at least.
We went into the draft with weak climber depth and had to search a bit outside our main region, but we're happy to have signed two more europeans to bolster our mountain squad. Especially pleased to welcome back David De la Cruz after 4 years apart for one final season together.
2023 Squad
Climbers: | Marc Christian Garby | MO 79 | €100,000 | 32 | | Bjorn Tore Hoem | MO 77 | €80,000 | 32 | | Romain Bardet | MO 76 | €0 | 33 | | David De la Cruz | MO 75 | €0 | 34 |
Puncheurs: | Lucas Eriksson | HI 78 | €135,000 | 27 | | Kristian Dyrnes | HI 78 | €90,000 | 31 | | Kasper Asgreen | HI 77 | €50,000 | 28 | | Fred Ludvigsson(RR) | HI 76 | €50,000 | 29 |
Sprinters: | Christian Bertilsson | SP 79 | €100,000 | 32 | | Ingus Eislers (RR) | SP 79 | €50,000 | 34 | | Syver Waersted | SP 78 | €90,000 | 27 |
Cobblers: | Vegard Breen | CO 77 | €120,000 | 33 | | Olli Kulppi | CO 77 | €55,000 | 32 | | Jesse Kaislavuo (RR) | CO 73 | €60,000 | 30 |
Time Trialists: | Arturs Belevics (TT) | TT 78 | €60,000 | 27 | | Andreas Vangstad | TT 77 | €95,000 | 31 | | Vegard S. Laengen | TT 74 | €60,000 | 34 |
We're also pleased to have 4 National Champions aboard, including back to back win in Finland by Kaislavuo, our first swedish champion ever, and a double jackpot in Latvias RR and TT.
Here are the beautiful jerseys made by designer alexkr00, that they will proudly wear to represent their home country this season

There's a busy transfer season incoming for you with most of your leaders declining. Let's hope some of your fellow Scandinavian managers have some leaders to sell And it also seems time to get some young blood into the team.

Given our shared regional focii, I don't doubt we will be having some discussions come transfers. There is definitely a lot of work to be done looking at the age-distribution of the squad, but given the four riders released were all aged 34 or 35 that isn't a new issue.

Keen to see what you can do to re-structure your squad during transfers with age knocking on the door to a few of your better riders.
