What a cruel, ironic way to end his Giro. But you gotta love Bini’s simplicity and smile after this episode, what a rider and what an incredible guy he must be. |

Didn't the same thing happen to VDP, it just didn't hit him in the eye. I Think they need to think about the size/design of the podium bottles as they are clearly a safety issue.

So sad for Bardet! He would have been such a fun winner! |

Awesome stage, loving the spirit of many teams this race. Intermarche, Jumbo and Bora mainly.

Nibali and Walverde must have swapped blood last week.
Shame Bardet is out, I feel like he could have flourished in this type of race.

João Almeida is doing a full Indurain-esque Giro, I’ve never seen him lift his butt from the saddle in these two weeks. hope he doesn’t falter on the next few stages, but then again, neither of the top-4 has had a bad day…
Also, I fear that Arensman will fade into the shadows of the Ineos domestique mountain train next year, great breakthrough season and solid top-10/15 rider so far! |

Liking the varied styles among climbers in this Giro. Almeida is cool to follow as a true diesel guy.
Someone's gonna have to explain Nibali to me. Guy looked cooked the last couple of years and suddenly is a contender again immediately after announcing his retirement. I mean, I'm there for the nostalgia, but very weird...

It's also because the climbing field is pretty weak imo.

It was not a really good Giro with I think only the Torino stage being rememberable. Would've hoped to see a little bit more from Nibali but I guess a 4th place at the end will be a good farewell result as well. It's nice to see Hindley (probably) winning. His style when he goes out of the saddle reminds me a little bit of Contador, even though he'll have to make up a lot regarding his attacking spirit. |

Jai freaking thermonuclear Hindley. He just needs to become more consistent, think he has shown the level to be a real GT contender now. |

Mostly followed it by watching the GCN summaries that were really good. Giro this year was really relatively dull. Perhaps this means we might finally get a good Tour.

Don't really have a preference between Carapaz and Hindley. But since Carapaz already has a Giro win, it's good to see Hindley most likely getting this one. Especially after the miss shot in 2020.
