Is there a top 3 in the points bug as well?
Good win for Voyagin. They've been struggling quite a bit this season from what I saw in the rankings.

Sprinter group gets a 51 second gap in the middle of a highly contested stage race. Love to see it.
Nothing for us here, with Lander not sprinting and no GC news. Congrats to Voyagin!

Liu with a great ride, thanks everyone for the congratulations. Shiki Kureoda is doing terrible here though, and seems to be a complete waste of a roster spot/wages so far this season. Thought he'd be able to be ride to some anonymous but decent finishes with his Hill/COB/RES/Sprint abilities.
Also great to see you back Tamijo!

Vesely? P3? A somewhat successful leadout?

Saber is crap without a lead out
Would be nice to see us in the breakaway tomorrow, it's not like we have anything better to do.

Damn. Groenewegen just needed to follow anyone to secure the point jersey. Instead he goes for the long sprint and missing out.
So 3 sprint stages and depite 2 podiums, I can`t be happy with no stage win as top2-3 favourite when the GC was given out of hands early.
Tomorrow must see one or more of my cobblers going out for an attack. Ideally obviously Van Hooydonck himself to take the stage win. |

Page doing well these past stages is all we could ask for. A shame to see Bewley dudded here due to his GC position.
Congrats Mre.
Thanks for the report!

Safely through. Had hoped for a bit better from Pedersen today as well, but we're in a good position going into the final day. Hope we really go on the attack there. Should be exciting. Will also be very interesting to see who manages to get in the break. Fancy some big names to be there.

Hsu still not sprinting is a shame as this race should really suit him.
Now it's all about tomorrow's stage, where we hope to defend the yellow jersey for Kasperkiewicz' second GC win here. Also I have 4 riders in 30-36 hope some of them can still move some spots up for some better ranking points!
Great to see Liu doing so well in the sprints here! I decided for Hsu when they both were Neo-pros and think it was the right choice all-in-all, but Liu is also making a strong case for himself. |

Sucks that Lander didn't sprint at all here, but it was a deep sprinter's field and I guess he wasn't given that role in the team.
Hopefully our guys can survive as well as possible tomorrow. Not sure how selective it will be. Sinkeldam is the guy we need to protect for GC, but if it's not too hard of a race, Lander and Trentin are better suited to the stage with their sprinting abilities. Regardless, getting our top 5 goal seems nearly impossible unless Sinkeldam does something crazy.
Edit: Apparently I misremembered, and we actually have a win goal here for some bizarre reason. That obviously isn't happening, so glad that takes the pressure off.

Hey, Saber? Where was that sprinting in the previous 3 stages?!
He moves up to 25th in GC which is good, but we lost all our top 50 depth. So today's stage doesn't really change anything. We got some points and we'll live to fight another day. Just not on cobbles I hope
Thanks for the reports LLS, it looked like a tricky race to do

At least the team tried.
First Robeet in the break, who was the 5th best option though only. Then Van Hooydonck trying to make the race more interesting and going for it.
In the end though, the favourites did keep control, fair enough.
Awful race GC wise due to that stage 1 failure. Decent sprint stages but also without the biggest points.
So in total, not the very best race if you send 2/3 leaders here plus solid support but not getting as many points out of it as expected. At least it`s not a 0 pointer neither.
Congrats to the successful teams here and thanks for the reports! In especially after day 1 it wasn`t the friendliest race for a reporter I guess. |

Had hoped for some attacks from our guys, but a good result. Pedersen really close to the win (and the points competition), and we end the race with two guys top 5 and a additional two guys in the top 15 + the team classification.
A race that makes up for our no shows in the Ardennes, and Wisniowski now already with more points than last season.
Congrats to Bikex!

Sadly this was nothing, I guess almost a 0-pointer over minimum. Nice reports though!

God PCM AI is dumb sometimes (although this isn't strictly a PCM20 this time). Very fun to watch my two good cobblers, who vanished entirely on stage 1, setting the pace today, seeming intent to ruin Matthews race. Which of course they did, as he dropped from 14th, to finish outside the Top40.
All of that capped without a single breakaway appearance, and only a hint of a sprint from Jay Major once.
Definitely our worse AI race since joining the MG in 2013. There are no words, only a ridiculous volume of Mount Gay Rum to numb the soul. Missing out so completely on crucial PTHC points is a killer, i don't see a way back to PCT survival from here.
The positive note, at least it's not the fault of management we're heading for relegation. And Wolverine has obvious strength, which we can train into a CT level leader.

Nice try by Teunissen and 8th in GC is good enough.

No attacks from us, not even a breakaway attempt despite all cobblestone riders being far down in the GC. A good GC was ruined after day one anyway.
Thanks for the reports LLS and congrats Bikex!
