Not the greatest stage from Gesink. I was hoping he could keep up or even gain time on Bobridge, but he definitely didn't have the best form there. Fraile and Oliveira should be beatable in that last stage but the podium could very well slip away from us. Hopefully the MON stat will come into relevance tomorrow
Congrats on the victory Heine!

Not great. Good that Hofer got 4th, but we lost a ton of points in GC, gonna need Krizalid and Siskevicius to gain 2 minutes on everyone above them basically to salvage the tour

Ouch. Finishing outside of the top 100 is rough.
This was a terrible ride by Lopez. Definitely need huge gaps tomorrow to get him close to the top 10 now...

In terms of expectations this is terrible. Coppel finishing outside the top 10 in the TT is a nightmare and we sit 10th heading into the last stage. Hopefully we can hang on better than stage 2 which was far mar selective than I hoped and now we can only hope for a miracle to hold what we have.
What a write off...

That's actually a disappointing TT from Haga. At least he's still in the top ten though.

Well that was nothing.. ITTs have really been underwhelming for my team this season. Brändle always seems to struggle in important TTs. Frustrating to see how he does compared to Fraile. And it's not really surprising Brändle is the best for my team in this race, that was what I expected and to be honest he should've been even better.
Lutsenko yesterday with a great day, but it was already foreseeable that he won't have another one today. I hope for some improvements of my team in the last stage!
Thanks for the report bbl, but the "Thailand smiles with you" pun was terrible |

Zamri salvaged the race, as Siskevicius once again incredibly weak, greatly outperformed by Krizalid. Ibelieve it's only 56 points for us, not ideal, but we move on, hopefully Tour of Lithuania will be better

So despite a stagewin for Evonik this wouldn't turn out to be the race that catapulted them into the leaderseat. That's quite underwhelming. I had hoped to see MAL tare this stage apart.

In the end, seventh is a very good result from Haga, can't see where he should've gained one and a half minute to finish higher. Especially nice to beat Coppel. Had hoped for JvR to finish a bit higher but can't have everything.
Thanks for the reports bbl and congrats tsmoha!

Well 8th is below expectations really after we lost out big on stage 2 but I'm happy with the teams performance on stage 5, still we won't get any serious stage points from the race and we only grab some minor placings in the GC so this race has been a dud unfortunately.

Same. He did actually try his luck early enough but he must have had a very bad day to be even dropped from that bigger group in the end. Obviously hoped for at least 50 points more from him (e.g. a stage win, 12th GC) but i knew it was a big risk and at least Liepins got us a stage win here to not leave empty-handed. But i guess the next couple of races are far more important since we have a lot more to win/lose

Terrible race. Really big performance from a bunch of the weaker Hill guys who were high in the GC, to beat the top punchuers on the last stage. Doesnt really change much, so can't stress over it too much, but would have expected Kinoshita and Lutsenko to be a little better relative to all those others.
Thanks for the reports BBL

Strong stage from Gesink, but frustrating to see Fraile finish just next to him. It feels like that 2nd GC place was ours to take. The ITT was too decisive for us. Anyway a great result to finish 3rd in a PTHC, failed goal but still a good haul of points here.
Congrats on the dominant win here tsmoha. Well deserved!
And finally, thanks for all the great reports BBL. That's a very successful comeback!

6th, behind Goncalves or Oliveira, is simplz not good enough. Pleased with Mullen´s performance in ITT though!
Congrats tsmoha and thanks BBL for reports!

I'll repeat my message from another thread: had a busy time irl and couldn't find the motivation or time to check in here. Thought I would start catching up with the stuff here rather than le Tour, where Morton disappointed me
Surely a big race for Bobridge, who continues to bounce back in style from a disastrous season last year! Obviously this was a target race prior to the start of the season and I'm happy he managed to take it that way. Pretty sure this had been an "OR goal", that I decided to scratch, but as I always used to fail goals, this won't be a big issue for me. Loved his aggressive racing on the first key stage, which always can backfire, if things don't go your way. But they did, as he managed to keep firing even on the final climb. A solid TT and another stage win on the final day: yes, as the reports said - we couldn't have asked for more!
Pretty important points after Morton's low-key performance in France (that I will try to catch up soon....). Thanks for the reports and for the congratulations!

Will echo tsmoha, was catching up on my results yesterday and was pleasantly surprised with Omar Fraile's performance in this one. He now has a reputation of over preforming in one race against PT competition each season. Hopefully this form carries over into the Tour of America. Thanks for the reports!
