Top 10 was always going to be impossible, but 124th? Not a good race for the AI here.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

HELL YES! Best possible start from Phinney in our team great to see him delivering what the team set up all day. Makes me wonder whether I should've gone for other races with Phinney than what I planned for him.
Surely the points rankings must be the other way round with stage results though, right?
Thanks for an awesome report!

Point Ranking will be shared anyway. So doesn`t matter who has the 1st and 2nd ahead when at same points.
e.g. Phinney and Holloway both get the same points for having 25 points there. Same for the next with same points. |

Ditto, this doesn't make any sense at all
Even if Beltran had a bad day, you still don't expect him to get dropped before the big climb

Thank you for your reports, Nemolito!
Also a big win for Isostar and Phinney. That MO training combined with a brilliant daily form makes it kind of difficult to keep up with him Congratulations, Croatia14!
Not what we came for, and also a goal failed. Though, fingers crossed Taaramäe's rather weak finish there was more down to randomness, maybe he paced the group from the front for some time before the sprint, or something like that. Seeing how that race went, I definitely hoped for a top 5, so 6th is kind of worrying. What is much more worrying though is the complete no show from Galta and Kwiatkowski. Having them in 30th and 31st here is underwhelming, which is problematic considering what's to come and our fight to avoid relegation. As it looks, that's what we've got to fight this season, if Taaramäe and Kwiatkowski can't figure it out and do better together. So far it has been 2/2 races where one of them is a no show, while the other tries his best. I definitely hoped for both to fight for nice placings in races they do together. Fingers crossed this can turn on their next opportunity! |

Flying start for Tenorio. Was calm and collected to ride his way to a respectable third place while proudly showing off the Spanish NC jersey. First team goal complete!
On top of that, solid ride from Jack Burke to finish second in the youth competition and David Abal showing his experience with a nice result as well. Add that together and it's second place in the team competition. Cool.
Great start for our climbers. Very happy.
Well done on your first reports Nemolito and congrats to Croatia14 for the beast that is Taylor Phinney.

Okay but not great. Less aggressive racing would have been better for me but its probably more realistic this way. 8th for Lopez is probably 1 or 2 places below realistic expectations so fully within that range.
Thanks for the report and congrats to Croatia!
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Congrats Croatia!
We can all agree that gap is a joke, but the win's deserved regardless.
I'm perfectly happy with second for Herklotz, especially complemented by second in the KoM as well.
Besting Lecuisinier by a bit and Madrazo by a country mile is a statement to start the season (albeit in isolation), particularly if the rumours are true and we won't face Phinney in a GT.
Vasyliv and Stüssi did their job well, which was a slight concern with them being only 77mo, and Top 40s for both are good depth points. Sadly that just wasn't quite enough to gain more points as a team.
It was absolutely vital for the race to break up like it did, luckily we got the opposite of the 2019 edition today.
I'm inclined to believe Silvio's hill stat made some of the difference between 2nd and 6th, which would be a great start towards proving me right.
MAL dropping straight through the chasing group also gives me confidence that he'll need several more millions to keep me awake at night.
Thanks for the reports Nemolito, a promising debut!
I would've loved a couple more shots of the sprint for second to evaluate this performance even more thoroughly, but that's just a small complaint compared to the general good quality.
also Cattaneo wtf

Madrazo must've had a very bad day. He had to fold instantly when the favorites attacked.
Congrats Croatia

Another “blah”-result... Not as “blah” as Madrazo but still a result resembling what he could have done before training.

Not bad! Hirt somehow saves the race for us with a really solid result. Congrats to Isostar!

Decent race for us. Shikai and Quintana both in the Top 15 is a good result, especially with the riders we beat like Madrazo.
I guess Phinney was quite strong here already, and probably a good sign to justify the training.
Thanks for the reports!

Very happy with 7th for Carthy here - hopefully a good sign that PCM18 likes him, in his first maxed race. Good depth scoring from Figueiredo and Goncalves as well, to make this a very nice result for us.
I think it should be enough that even if we flop in Gisborne we'll be comfortably up at around 30-35PPRD come the end of January, which we can't complain about. If we can grind out top 10s in all our PTHC stage races then we should have a good season ahead.
Thanks for the reports Nemolito - looking forward to more of the same in future, great quality! And congrats to Croatia, I take back what I said about Phinney training being a waste of money |

Well damn... I thought with Chaves in the breakaway, I had a very real chance of getting something out of this stage. I didn't expect the real climbers to go ballistic in their revenge of last years edition.

Wtf was that. I would've taken a top 15 in this field for Uran in this field but this? If he wanted to retire from racing he should've just told me instead of picking up another half a million.
Congrats Isostar, and thanks Nemolito for a great reporting debut!

Samolenkov 8th place at the first stage was pretty good, but what happened in the second stage? Kolesnikov in the BotD, getting caught before the final climb begins and still finishing best of the whole damm team; weird!
