Did AKA just sit up in the middle of the sprint? I'm at a loss for words. Can't believe I spent so many years developing this idiot, for this to be his peak.

28th for Haller, not sure what is going on in the Kraftwerk team at the moment?

Wippert with a good 3rd place. In reality, he was in a position to try to win all three sprint stages, but we only come away with one podium out of those! Need to be more clinical in the important parts of races going ahead.
Not really sure what happened to Bardet. Unless he attacks, that's one source of minor GC points already gone! Our riders don't really attack, so...

Wow Glanbia, awesome result for a CT team!
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Glanbia
Senni really did too much in the sprints. I don't even want to look at the rankings.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Ligthart with a good ITT for perhaps the first time all season. Still no match for that amazing Glanbia sweep!
Really hope we don't have another Portugal where the team gets sent back when Lightgart is eventually dropped on the mountains or hills

A very good first test for Warbasse. Hopefully a sign of good things to come for him. Finishing 3rd amongst the GC guys, only behind Reis and Shikai, is about as good as we good possibly have hoped for. I'm actually kind of glad Garby lost time here. If the game has any intelligence at all, that should make him the perfect foil/superdomestique for Warbasse instead of a competitor going forward.
I will admit I got a little too excited when I saw Steensen as the number 1 favorite. I wasn't expecting much going in, and that got my hopes up a bit. At least we continue our streak of a top 10 in every stage thus far.
Congrats to Glanbia! What an insane performance for them, and a huge chunk of points for a CT team.

Thought Shikai and Rolland would be better, however its a solid result still as we are one of the better GC riders. Great result for Glanbia though.

Wow, Glanbia are stealing all the headlines with that performance, Congrats on the domination.
We had a decent stage ourselves with 2 in the top 6 and the youth jersey on our team leader Ranaweera, hopefully he can hold that the rest of the race and move up GC a bit more himself.

I was a bit worried for Warbasse there at the end, but he put in another good ride. I saw this as hill influenced, and he has 75, so I was a bit surprised to see him almost losing out in that mid pack split. I guess he was out of position judging by the earlier screens. Up to 4th overall now after doing well in both of today's GC shakeups. Obviously putting too much stock into GC placings before the high mountains is pointless, but I'm happy we're in this position so far.
Gotta say though, idk what is going on with Garby. The guy has 79/70 mountain hill, and straight up finished behind AKA, who has 52/64, on a so called mountain stage. We don't have crashes or random fitness on, so I'm not sure how he can be that bad. Hopefully he turns it around later in a non-GC role. At least we have Warbasse.
Now if only AKA could get us a win tomorrow to cap off the first week.

Back into the GC lead, a positive sign. Were leading the GC and points again. Who knows how long it can last, but leading competitions is some nice extra points. This was the stage I was seriously worried about for Shikai, so to not ride too poorly and move into yellow is above my expectations for sure.

De La Cruz 5th already in GC is very promising. Maybe this turns out okay after all |

Six stages already, oh my!
Today was a very mixed day for us. Glorious ride in the morning. Disappointing in the afternoon. It's more or less what I was expecting though. Success in the TT and lack of it in the mountains.
Thanks for the incredible pace jph and congrat to all the winners so far!

What a performance by Glanbia on S5!
Kraftwerk not performing too well in the TT.
After stage 6 we have 4 riders in the top 20 and are 2nd in Teams. A good base to build on.
Thanks for the sparkling pace of the reports jph.

Been watching the race unroll, Machado doing nice and steady so far, good impressions from Pantano in this finish that didn't suit him, so confident that the whole team is ready to fight for this podium

That was the best stage for Gaviria, so still some mixed feelings. Great pace and quality reports though!
