I just realise I made a huge mistake in planning by sending Marcos here instead of Barton, that's why our TTT was so underwhelming...
The loss could have been worse though, and Claeys still has a chance at a top ten

Very solid TTT from the boys! Schreurs is in a good position ahead of the final two stages.

About what was expected (in fact the preview was exactly right!) but losing yellow always hurts, and chances of coming back with the toughest hill stage where both Houle and Venter are expected to lose time is nearly non-existent. If they can hang around the top 10 tomorrow if it's not-so-selective then it'll be a very solid race but no idea what to expect!

Today's stage was a TTT, and we were not dead last - success!

His performance here seems to suggest that Hoelgaard has forgotten how to ride a bike, barely scratching the Top 50 is simply not good enough. |

Position-wise, I think that was one of our best TTTs ever! Not much more that the team could've done on that stage. A shame Kelderman lost time on the last stage, otherwise, he would have been in an excellent position now.
Like I said at the start of the race, it's now or never Keldi! Two stages remain which could possibly define our season, or at least push us towards some sort of survival push...

Average TTT result. As predicted actually
10th is a decent place for Bilbao to be, now he just has to make sure not to get dropped in the final 2 stages.
Congrats to ryant on the win

This has been such an unlucky tour for Siskevicius its saddening. Barely missing out on extra stage points in all 4 individual ones, seconds away from scoring dozens more points, and I dont think stage 6 will improve his 12th position in GC. Sucks

I don't think I have ever been so frustrated throughout a whole season. The one time Yates wins a sprint... the breakaway takes the win. It's been a tough year for what should have been a decent team. I guess there is always next year.
Thanks for the reports, as always.

Nice to have the amateurs guys going in breaks and having some fun. I was excited by Godoy's attack for a second there. Thought he had a chance to win. A podium is still great though.

Glad to see Bellis lost no time on what was the toughest stage of the race, he didn't seem to have much energy left but he did what he had to!

The stage I feared most with all the climbing, but Claeys survived and is now in the top ten. Needs to gain more tomorrow.
Up to second in the teams classification as well with Haga and Selander hanging on today, great to see the rest of the team doing well!

This was basically our last ditch effort to be relevant in this race. I don't think we can replicate this in the race finalé

Really strange stage, to our benefit for sure and I'm really happy with our unexpected retention of 4th and 6th going into the final stage which should suit us, but the lack of much GC action is really surprising and a bit of a shame.

Good to see Kelderman still active but this GC result, if it stays the same, doesn't really help. I predict our whole team being on the wrong side of the split of the last stage

Useless, that's the best way to describe Bilbao's performance, useless
I don't see us making up any ground on the last stage, so this turns out to be another very subpar race.

What a nice surprise to see Freuler get his second win of the season
Really unexpected, as he had a no-show so far. Of course, it's exactly for stages like this that I signed him, and he did deliver.
One lesson learnt though is that Pellaud has become pretty much useless in hilly stage races with PCM 18, as have several other "one-dimensional puncheurs". 77 Hi is good, but 65 Mo seems to be clearly not enough in this version...
